2PM’s Junsu will perform despite knee cast

After experiencing knee pains and has been set into a cast, Kim Junsu continues to perform with group 2PM. A reprentative has confirmed that the member will have his cast for the next three weeks. He continues to lift his fighting spirit while performing minimal choreography with the group.

On the 9th, 2PM said to Money Today Star News, “Junsu is in a cast because of his knee pain, and he will have to wear the cast for 3 weeks in order to protect his knee.”

They continued, “However, as 2PM’s new song ‘Without U’ is receiving a lot of love from fans, Junsu’s will to stand on stage is strong and he will take the stage at music programs with his cast,” and “The hospital determined that if he stands without bending his knee he should be fine, and with avoiding extreme dances he will continue to meet fans.”

On the afternoon of the 8th, Junsu appeared on the live broadcast of MBC’s music program ‘Music Core’ in a cast to perform ‘Without U’ together with his 2PM members. Though Junsu couldn’t do group formations, he showed his fighting spirit by doing his own parts to the best of his ability.

On the 7th, KBS was having a live broadcast beginning at 6:30PM in their new performance hall for ‘Music Bank’ when Junsu experienced extreme knee pain and had to go to the hospital. After a close examination, Junsu returned to his apartment right away.

I can kinda understand where Junsu/JYPE is coming from, Woo can't sing and Junsu is 60% of 2pm's vocals. They would probably have to give up promoting without him.
