This feels like a nice goodbye song. I hope fans are happy. I liked the MV of them all coming together at the end. So visually nice. I appreciate older groups giving a goodbye song (obligatory F*** Source Music for what they did to Gfriend).
Considering disbandment, I feel the need to post their debut song which was freaking amazing.
Yeah it was an INSANE accomplishment when they hit 1 million views and then over 10 million flew by!! I remember when it was the most viewed video on 1TheK (I think the YT channel was called Loen back then still?) and even EXO couldn't beat them at the time!! It's crazy how viral their anti-bullying message spread and it was well deserved imo
It feels almost disingenuous now seeing 100m view records for groups nowadays with mass streaming so popular, but kudos to fans that grind it I can't really blame them for supporting their groups like that even if I find the songs aren't worth the blind support sometimes like BP recycling the same song over and over but that's just my opinion and more of an example of why I find it disingenuous
One has to see it in relation. I have to give it to the fans for their dedication, the amount of views doesn’t hold any meaning about a song like it used to. Or is it contributing for music show / award wins?
As far as I know YT doesn't count for streams, I think it's just for record breaking so stans can say their group did it? I'm not sure if they put the whole video on replay or if they just refresh the page every few seconds to get past the view bot delay but maybe it contributes to YT monetization?
Controversy aside this group will always sit close to my heart along with BAP. 2012 was my golden era for boy groups and I'll always look back fondly even though I converted to girl groups now
I just got into them too ;~; I heard some rumor on Reddit that hybe rejected their renewal so fuck them!!! I wish we had at least one more year. They accomplished so much within a small time that I hope the members are a bit at peace knowing they got to go out on top.
(But fuck hybe I know it’s prob not their fault but they took gfriend and if they disband fromis9 to make room for the new gg I will fly over there)
