Noooooo. This is the most difficult yet. Idk that many RV songs but the few I do, I really like.

I ended up choosing Russian Roulette. The song and mv are so fun, even if they did make Seulgi look like Annabelle.

this one's a little difficult for me, lol. for velvet titles, it's a toss-up between automatic and one of these nights tbh! for red titles, it's between dumb dumb and red flavor, though i have a soft spot for umpah umpah :')

i think their b-sides are better than most of their title tracks. i don't have a problem with most of their red songs but i much prefer their velvet ones 😅

oh this was easy, my favorite title is russian roulette! i've loved all their titles up until RBB and since then i haven't loved one (aside from psycho). they always have really good b-sides even though the b-sides on recent albums haven't really been doing it for me.

i listened to 'the red' and 'perfect velvet' non-stop when they came out. i'd loop the albums while driving to work or while i was getting ready and i'd go through at least one full listen of the albums everyday for a month or two after they were released.

my all-time favorite b-side is you better know! ❤️ the lyrics always make me so emotional and give me a lot of hope. my other favorites are i just, cool world, about love, oh boy, kingdom come, and blue lemonade.

oh GOD now THIS ONE was hard. I just had a crisis trying to pick btwn Red Flavor, Ice Cream Cake, Psycho and Bad Boy. But honestly I love so many of their title tracks. The number that I love vastly outnumbers the few I don't. This is why its so sad when I don't enjoy one D:

So the short ver.:

I got interested in RV through their velvet songs: Automatic and Be Natural (someone remembering the clean ver. without Taeyong‘s voice).

I didn‘t like Happiness at all in the beginning, but the song grew on me later. I used to listen to it when I wanted my mood lifted.

OOTN wasn‘t what I expected it to be at first, but I have a soft spot for it in my heart (especially the live stages).

Bad Boy is a strong contender as well. The song‘s just great.

ugh, the hardest poll yet! it was really hard to choose between ootn, rookie and rbb, but i finally went with the latter.
and i already knew my tastes are not the same as most of omona's or just kpop fandom in general, so I'm not surprised that all 3 of my favs have no votes.
i think those are the 3 most unique singles in rv's discography: ootn is a gorgeous and multilayered ballad that whisks me away into a sad fantasy world, rookie is an absurdly fun and quirky bop, and rbb is a rollercoaster ride, a fun experiment full of vocal flexing that keeps me on the edge of my seat.

Rookie and OOTN are two of my top faves! Rookie is super catchy, I’d have to look at what my first impressions of that song was but I really like it now. OOTN is a gorgeous ballad, I see because it’s a ballad it has no real chance at winning lol but it’s the type of ballad I adore. Gets me all in my feelings haha.

Peek-a-Boo is always going to be THAT girl for me - fun concept, great looks, FANTASTIC album. Plus Bad Boy was the perfect repackage too. PAB for life!!! But I definitely also really love Dumb Dumb & One of these Nights too for their korean releases.

I’m surprised not a lot of people are mentioning Bad Boy! I guess Psycho really took over as everyone’s favourite velvet track lol. I’ve always adored their red tracks over their velvet tracks personally, so it’s a toss up between Red Flavor and Russian Roulette for me. Those two songs just epitomise everything that kpop should be, in my opinion. Colourful, quirky, and fun!

I haven’t voted yet and I’m still waiting to choose. Rookie and OOTN surprisingly enough are ranking really high for me right now. Dumb Dumb is what made me fall for RV, I liked Happiness but it’s not my fave debut and ICC I’m mixed on. But Dumb Dumb is highly addicting minus the silly MJ rap, I can do without it. Russian Roulette is fun, Automatic is a delight, and Red Flavor is a summer classic now. Hell I even like Zimzalabim a lot more now and that blows my mind haha. Bad Boy is fantastic as well but I found myself more interested in their more upbeat songs here in this revisit.

But really their whole discography is great, there’s only a couple songs I’m kinda meh on. But the selection is diverse with the velvet and red concepts and making the post I really like their MVs for the most part.

RV was one of my top groups (it ranked #3 as my most listened to for awhile) but with Wendy not really a fave of mine and with Irene’s scandal my love for the group has waned. I’m not as hyped for new releases but I adore their discography as a whole and who knows if a new song will wow me again. But also I’m so ready for Seulgi solo give it to me SM!!!

i love pretty much all red velvet songs tbh they’re like twice for me in that respect. i even love zimzalabim lmao (hahaha, are you ready for this? ZIMZALABIIIM!!!!) and RBB is one of my faves (it’s so fun and i love the stages).

i’ve been really into automatic and one of these nights lately but all of their velvet tracks are god-tier imo. for the red tracks i love russian roulette and red flavor most i think.

Arghhhhh this one is hard :( It comes down to Red Flavor (pitch perfect red) or Bad Boy for me (pitch perfect velvet). I'm going with Red Flavor bc that song is like a whole summer in three minutes for me, I listen to it all summer every year and never get sick of it.

I'm super hot and cold on RV's titles, like either I'm obsessed or I find them borderline unlistenable, but their b-sides and overall discography are so so strong

Dumb Dumb and Russian Roulette are the quintessential RV tracks to me, a mix of earworms and fun songs. while their velvet songs like Automatic, Peek-a-boo and Bad Boy (ok the latter 2 are supposedly a mix) are great, I feel like RV shine best in bright songs. I went with Russian Roulette because it's less talked about and it's hella addictive, plus a good follow up to Dumb Dumb.

Red Velvet songs are like marmite for me, I love them or I hate them. I picked Peek a Boo because it came after a series of singles (wiki tells me 5, with the exception of Red Flavor and Russian Roulette) that I really disliked. It was also their first darker concept comeback, which I really loved, and the styling and choreography is really iconic for me. So for me it kind of felt like a pinnacle for them.

also I'm unsurprised and very happy that IATB won for 2ne1, it really is their iconic song.
