It turns out that bop bop is a bop. It doesn't go as hard as I had hoped but I enjoyed it a lot. It is fun! The mini is nice but not outstanding. Might need more listens.
No surprises that I adore the song! It’s so fun and infectious, and it’s great that the visuals in the mv match! It’s also lovely to see Umji really shine. I watched bits and pieces of the live performance and she just really comes to life.
i love the set design + cute outfit and makeup too! seeing the three of them kinda feel empty (the part before their first chorus), they could've shot closer since nothing much in the background. let's see if i'm gonna bop bop bop to this later.
it's a pretty catchy song, good debut for them! I liked sinb's voice in the bridge. also I feel like Umji had the most screentime here, which is good (but also surprising since she was relatively shafted during gfriend time)

That opening is weird. Why does it sound like they are rewinding something? The opening verses is slower than I expected. Umji is a freaking dream. Oh....that connection between the first verses and chorus is not my favorite. Not a disjointed track. That chorus is fun and I love the dance. Ok. the verses sound so much better after the first chorus. It actually goes together. THOSE MF NAILS. I HATE THEM. The trend of long press on nails needs to die. I feel there are a lot of unnecessary cuts/jumps in the MV. OMG> the space scenes and outfits. Except for Umji's fake bangs, I LOVE them so much. I like that it's not overtly cute or sexy. Just fun.
Overall thoughts: I don't really like the beginning. It doesn't really go with the song. But after the first chorus I am bopping along. I'll probably end up liking the beginning after enough listens. Of course the girls look gorgeous. I forgot how much I love Umji with dark hair.
While this isn't quite the bop I wanted it is enjoyable and that chorus was IMMEDIATELY stuck in my head. I'll be listening to it again. I think Tweet Tweet was my fav on the album. I enjoyed Love You Like a lot too which was surprising because thats typically not my type of song but the melody was really nice.

i like bop bop (bop bop to the top) but it could be boppier, i'm not really sure if i would replay a lot. i don't really care for the mv, it's a bit over the place?? the hair + makeup looks are great though!
the mini is pretty good! i like fiesta, lemonade and mirror, the last one has that typical gfriend sound!
I think they could have done with at least 25% less jump cuts. Let me enjoy the scenes instead of flickering between them so much. That's my main gripe.
But yes, hair and makeup is lovely. Very trendy right now I think.
