Sing Again 2, the second season of the hit competition/survival singing show for unknown or forgotten singers, has shared online some of the first-round performances that didn't make it to air and netizens were especially surprised to recognize Singer #1 (in line with the show's rules, all contestants are anonymous and referred to by numbers).
Singer #1 is of course, former MBLAQ member Thunder (Chundoong).

When Chundoong told me he was going on Sing Again, it felt really weird because I'm friends with so many of the judges and I avoided getting in touch with any of them until the taping was over
His scenes were edited out of the broadcast but still, thank you so much to Eana unnie and Heeyeol oppa and Lee Sunhee sunbaenim for their kind words and thank you to Mino for being curious about what kind of music he's doing thes days

After the astronomical success of Sing Again season 1 (runner-up Lee Mujin has topped Korean music charts), more recognizable faces have appeared on season 2 for another chance at the limelight, including several former idols and k-pop singers.

Team 62 x 72 and Team 4 x 57 faced off in Round 2, with 4 and 57 receiving more votes and advancing to the next round.
In Round 3 (Rivals), the duet partners in Round 2 were pitted against each other. #57 performed Lee Seunggi's "The Dream of a Moth" but ultimately received less votes than #4 and was eliminated.
