Not even going to lie I’m just here for MVSK. They did great! They look like naturals on the stage, but it makes sense with girls like Yujin who have experience already. But they looked very natural and comfortable. The outfits and choreo worked with the song, it came off as effortlessly cool.

Usually a great debut song will make me want to learn every member (the exception being Billlie, loved their debut but don’t know them yet) but when it’s not entertaining me I don’t really bother and I’m at that point currently. I just know Yujin. Maybe eventually I’ll learn the other girls with comebacks that catch my interest more.

mvsk is a great song, but I get why they didn't choose it as a title track, they need koreans to pay attention to them after all that advantage to korean votes. it actually reminds of Sequence by iz*one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW-61oOanMw)

I feel like their debut is the type of song regularly put out last year that doesn’t go anywhere though tbh. Like IVE’s Eleven strayed with its more muted choice and it paid off as its charting in the top 10 regularly.

It's cool and fierce but I don't think the chorus of MVSK lends well to singing along or having that grabbing hook. It's not very melodic, the song is largely about the slickness of it's production and the sharpness.

the fan name is terrible honestly, so many better names were shown on screen and they came up with something reptilian? I'm a little repulsed honestly.

I love mvsk and I want them to continue performing it forever. it really is a song for ifans. also loving this xiaoting centre, she was destined to be kep1er's centre

the starting of wadada reminds me of black mamba? with chaehyun's hey and some of the choreo looking like black mamba. but it looks good for a debut choreo though, or maybe my rose tinted glasses and the girls help to sell it. I'm so glad chaehyun is not in aespa though, her being dressed in aespa aesthetics in mvsk, she definitely will have difficulty selling the AI concept as much aespa is already struggling

mvsk is infinitely a better song but i get why it isn't the title as well. They look great on that stage. Also youngeun!!!!! Serving more vocals than chaehyeon this song. I was disappointed they didnt focus on her during her high note in the song.

Someone please tell me Xiaoting is the official center because if she isn't, she should be. I wasnt entirely convinced during the show but i completely get it now. Im glad she's getting a good amount of lines and screentime though, i was afraid they'd make her a background character as korean voters adamantly did not want chinese people in the line up

i actually like wa da da better than mvsk - i think mvsk is a pretty overdone type of song/concept lately while wa da da is sort of a blend of modern noise music and a throwback to the 2017 teen crush era. i definitely hear the pristin influence!
needs more hikaru though. and bahiyyih/yujin but like... hikaru especially, i felt like her potential was totally wasted in the mv.

But I get why WDD was the title and actually endorse it being do over MVSK. It's fun, catchy and has a melody that will lends itself more to a sing along format. The live performance is definitely better than the MV too, which I think will help.

Yujin and Bahi did really great and I can see myself learning the other members (since I didn't watch the show, I tend not to watch the competition group reality shows)

Aww these were good performances! they looked comfortable. MVSK is soooooo good omg but I enjoyed Wa Da Da's stage too. Though as I said in the MV post, it took me three plays to vroom vroom vroom along them so idk what that says about me lol.
I still have to catch up with the episodes I haven't watched oops... But I'll prioritize new variety
See the Light is ok I guess and while I'm happy they released the Kep1er versions of their GP999 songs, I don't care much about them either. MVSK and Wa Da Da are the ones that will stay with me

I know MVSK is an overdone concept but I think the members do much better there. I don't know if they weren't given enough time to practice Wa Da Da, but the choreo is so messy and they're really out of sync (not just Bahiyyih). While all of them did well in MVSK and SHine. Should have gone for something like that instead.

I have to say WDD would be a much better song without the oh-oh-oh part, that kills the entire momentum of the chorus. And for a 3 minute song it sure feels like it goes on forever, mostly cause they keep repeating the exact same parts.

all of the members are much better performers live than in the video. the choreography's really good for both songs.
