Tbh I know SM has a strong grip on fans that I don’t really relate too, but I’ve still had plenty of songs I enjoy from these groups and I love BoA & Seulgi, and them to performing with another top dancer like Hyoyeon was really cool. I was genuinely excited!
…But I just got nothing from this. For starters, Karina’s vocal tone in the beginning sounds straight up bad to me. You have multiple main vocalists that can really deliver but there wasn’t much focus on vocal ability so that was a huge waste. Honestly the production is the biggest let down, it sounds so bare bones and dry? Kpop is known for its overproduction and its a big criticism but honestly I’ll take it over this. I couldn’t help but focus on how empty it sounds in the instrumental.
Maybe it’ll grow on me, but wow I’ve lost interest fast lol. But I should’ve known when SM described the track and I was like ‘…oh’ haha
Oop I did notice the lyrics lol, I was too focused on how boring the instrumental was for a song that is supposed to go ‘hard’ to notice that part

Boa seulgi hyoyeon were phenomenal, but once I looked at the song beyond their charisma, the song is straight up bad. The vocal parts were empty, the rap is atrocious. What the girls had going for them was the stage presence of the 3 aforementioned
I am so glad that I don't understand Korean well enough to truly focus on the lyrics. I know that the lyrics are saying but I have chosen to ignore it. I shall turn my brain off and just focus on the dancing which is nice I shall give them that. I enjoy the song tbh. It's not amazing, it doesn't go as hard or have enough buildup as I would like, but I will take it. I think it's nice. It does have this feel to it that it was put together at the last minute tho. Jopping seemed to have more production behind it.
But I think it's fun, but maybe I am biased and their charisma is just really selling it to me. I expected worse. I expected some NCT or Aespa level of noise music and this isn't that. And I think each girl got a time to shine.
I am going to watch this a few more times because I just enjoy seeing Boa, Hyoyeon and Seulgi dancing together.
- i like the song - i hate the lyrics - im really glad they kept the dance break to seulgi/boa/hyoyeon aka the more experienced members - i was wrong about swapping karina out for ningning, i'd now swap out winter for literally anyone, she was giving me absolutely nothing. not even a cheeky smile for that next level reference? come on now - karina's vocal tone is annoying but i've heard worse, i'll deal with it - love taeyeon/wendy's vocal bits. seulgi singing the same bits highlights exactly what doesn't work with her voice unfortunately - boa meshed well! they all did tbh, glad to see no one was trying to have their Kai Dancing In An Exo Formation moment - i wish the last chorus had had MORE. or like had it build up to more and then they could've had another half chorus where it faded out to what the last chorus had. after that build up it didn't have enough momentum and it didn't have enough interest to qualify as a successful antidrop - hyoyeon is gorgeous - i wish they'd replaced at least half of hyoyeon and karina's raps with vocal lines
I can't believe I was looking forward to and pre-hyping that GOT mess lmao. I thought with boa on board it was for sure gonna be a girl-power anthem, something along the same vein as, well, girls on top or woman 🙈. But not only were my expectations not met, they were thrown in a dumpster, set on fire, and then the dumpster fire proceeded to get hit by a speeding train. What train? None other than THE kwangya express itself 😔 RIP expectations/my hopes and dreams - we could have had it all! Yeah, I was very underwhelmed and am not feeling it at all. It feels very lifeless and robotic. I'll give it another listen, but I doubt my opinion will change too much...
is karina's voice normally that.... nasal and flat? it could be an interesting song if it had better vocals honestly. i like winter's voice a lot but she has the same problem lia had during itzy's debut where her default expression is a blank wide-eyed stare. taeyeon and wendy's parts are fine and cater to their strengths, and i almost wish that they used the same autotune on karina as what they used on hyo.
overall it's. fine. underwhelming, has a lot of potential to be much better, but not awful. i really hope this does not signify how sm's music is going to sound like for the rest of the year.

lol Sticker is better than this mess. This was very flat, which is even worse considering they have so many main vocals in the group...and they put some kind of autotune or what on their voices because it didn't even sound like Wendy at times.

It's more of a flex than a song, and not even a good one at that, but I'm not mad about it? I think I can listen to it again, as long as I can ignore the lyrics lmao. I was worried for a second when Karina started the song but I thought it was well balanced between everyone in the end. We got the Boa-Hyoyeon-Seulgi dance break, they killed it!!! Karina handled the performance well but Winter still have a lot of work to do with her performances. Everyone else had their charisma through the roof. It's fun to see Boa in a group!
I really liked the stage, though the camera movements on the livestream were annoying. Everything was too much and too fast. The song sucked, which is weird, cause the execution was really good. I even liked the production, it just sounded bad, so idk how I would fix it. I really wish they had been given more of a vocal song that still allowed them to have a strong stage. This was a disappointment and a waste of this lineup. I hope that we get to see these girls together again with a better song.
