Lily has such great energy in these covers, and she sounds great. Not only does she have a nice voice but she sings with such enthusiasm that I can hear it. I really want to see how she tackles a torch ballad or slower emotional song. Can she take her personality and translate it there?
If I could nitpick, I don’t like how it stars from the keys. Like they sounded…off. Maybe it was just me but Everytime the song starts I was ready to turn it off.
Again, Lily was great and I’m happy she is finally debuting. I hope the group allows her to explore her craft as a singer to some degree.
I‘m very curious about her growth as a singer in the next few years, so I‘ll be checking on the group here and there.
I read she started singing after some of her classmates and teachers died in a wildfire. Her family was very worried bc she was isolating herself after that loss. The she found solace in music with her family fully supporting her ever since.
