This was probably all put together last minute, because all the members decided to enlist together by the end of the month even tho they still had like 1-3 years to do it. The mv has a lot of callbacks to their previous ones.
i briefly took a look at their last three releases. i didnt like the music but the mvs were ok/not as insane as this one, and i noticed the callbacks. they reminded me of kai's mmmh and nct dream's hello future MVs
Their title tracks are usually on a more brighter note, this is a bit different from their usual input. You probably watched Popping, Ugly Dance and Beautiful Beautiful, right? The closest mv to this one is probalby Sukhumvit Swimming's one, but all their other mv are less like an acid trip and more cinematic. They're all part of a story (don't ask me about it idk anything except that there's two Hyojin's one of wich is trying to kill them through time and space lol).

Yep, that's him. I just realized that almost everyone has a weapon at one point, he's the one with the revovler in the black&white part.
You can clearly see there's two of him on the Popping mv, one that's on the spaceship in white and the one that arrives when the ship explodes in black clothes.
I love the title track, it's so funky. I also really like Whistle, and I know Fat and Sugar is going to be stuck in my head because it already was form the teaser.
Anyways, serve well my boys T.T I'm legit sad about this, but hopefully they'll be back in no time. They've given me os much this year, I loved almost all the comebacks. I never thought we'd get 4 in 1 year! They're my most listened group this year alongside Enhypenn and TXT.
I really like this, I think it matches their sound. I can't say I like it more than Beautiful Beautiful or Ugly Dance, though. Wow, I still can't believe they're about to enlist. (I guess that means WM's new girl group is coming soon.)
From the mini I think I like Whistle the most, but I tend to like songs with whistles.
the mini is nice but i cant get into goosebumps. i found ugly dance boring at first but it grew on me (like a lot) but i know it wont happen for this one. it sounds like an SM song... but more listenable... songs with lack of vocal melodies are not for me. this is the only title I've not loved from them so i don't really mind.
Their discography is one of the greatest things to exist in kpop bg history. I hope they're proud of that despite not being hugely popular. Their music has a lot of longevity, its not an instant love that then it dies down after a few listens like a lot of kpop songs are for me. they are going to remain legends to me, the only group who made me care about boy groups (after b1a4 basically disbanded to me in 2018), and they'll definitely be the last cause no bg is making listenable and genuinely good music imo. This is also the last active group who are my age and I can't get into bgs where members are younger than me. I connect with ONFs humour and their worries, thoughts etc...

OP whats your fave title from this year? For me its popping, although i didn't care for that mini, the title track was so good. My second choice is ugly dance, its something different and refreshing. the simplicity of it really made the vocal melody stand out.
I was sure it was Beautiful Beautiful, but everytime I listen to Popping I like it more and more. The start of the song when they all sing together gets me everytime. As for Ugly Dance, I didn't care for it for a long time, but I've begun to like it recently. So overall, I think atm: Popping>Beautiful Beautiful>Goosebumps>Ugly Dance
this is like ugly dance for me, i don't hate it or anything but i don't see myself listening to it unlike their bright tracks which i go crazy for.
fat and sugar is my favourite from the album even though it does make me laugh hearing fat and sugar repeated like fifty times throughout. it's not my favourite mini from them but im glad they released something before they left and show must go on was a nice finisher. unlike most groups that go to the army gradually, especially when they're still relatively not that big, i don't worry about onf at all — letting them all go together just as they're getting popular is a real show of faith in them by their company imo so i'm sure they'll have support behind them when they come back and continue on as a group so i don't have any sad feelings about it for once.
