Intersting, but ngl I hate bulky album packaging - takes up way too much room and they can be super awkward to store. Not to mention making it awkward to ship

I only like bulky packaging if they're the exact same size as my hardcover books so my bookshelf stays uniform, otherwise I pass even if it's my ultimate bias group. I really wish they would provide a smaller option especially considering how popular small living spaces are nowadays

I don't know why companies don't put more useable fan items like bracelets, necklaces, keychains, etc. Because posters and stuff I guess are nice but I think fans would go nuts for something physical they could wear to show thier standom even if it was cheapy looking.

you're not a flop! it took me in the year of corona 2020 to actually start buying them! I've been a fan since 2009. I still feel bad I missed out on some pretty albums that were released (still cries about f(x) pink tape, that was right up my alley!)

This packaging and concept looks fun, I don’t have a strong opinion on him either way so I’m not sure if I’ll check the comeback out, based on if I’m feeling like it lol but this concept is interesting for kpop.

I do prefer bulkier packaging or anything that stands out on the shelf. Though I have an album that is magazine size with it being skinny and long but I still think it’s pretty cool because it feels like a zine lol. fromis_9’s 9 Way Ticket is the only one I wasn’t feeling since their album is short and skinny so it easily gets lost on the shelf. For the passport concept it’s cute but now I know I’m not into short and skinny packaging.

Oh and I value cohesion. When the album packaging differs greatly per comeback omg I hate that lol. When they are all the same size and similar packaging yes please!

JYPE is usually pretty good about this but I also dislike it when every single album looks the exact same like Loona's. It just looks so boring on a shelf imo

All of the version are gorgeous but Version B is on a whole other level. I love box set type albums.

I also found out I like envelope style when Baekhyun's jpn album came out. Made me pissed SM didn't give us a case file type album for Obsession
