I enjoyed watching all the episodes even if they made me cry sometimes. Watching this series is just like watching the lives of other people around us. Reality of life, love, friendship and family. My attachment to this series is similar to how much I love Reply series (hehe they're from the same makers).

Exactly! I lived my whole life in front of a hospital and we used to have a small convenience store where doctors/nurses/hospital staff would often stay in during their breaks. Became friends with some of them and the stories told in Hospital Playlist are similar to what they used to share with us. Reminds me of good old days...

I like everything about the finale but the hint, they will not see each other that often I hate it!!!

I've recently watched S1, thinking that S2 was already available on my country's netflix, but I still gotta wait a few more days for it. I'm a little bit sad that there probably won't be more seasons, I like all of the characters and would like to see more of them.

In the meantime I'm watching Prison Playbook.

Sorry for the late reply! I've only watched a few episodes so far but I like it. I was shocked when the dad from the Reply series asked for a bribe in the first episode! 😂

I think this season was just as good as season 1! The characters just feel so... real, and I had so much fun watching the interact with each other and the people around them.

I read that they aren't planning a season 3, and although I would love to see more of these characters I like that they're leaving it on a high.

Only thing I missed is that the relationship between Ahn Jeong-Won and Jang Gyeo-Wool didn't become common knowledge at the hospital. Other than that - no real complaints :)

This show is schmaltzy af and the relationships go into overdrive abruptly sometimes but it was addictive af.
My fave scenes were them being in the band, those scenes really showed off their chemistry.
Honestly, this show could’ve had less cliched scenes but the cliches were played straight and were very quickly introduced and wrapped up so it didn’t feel like you were watching tragedy porn, so I really enjoyed it. I love slice of life media and it’s hard to do that in a hospital setting but this really worked well.

i agree that the show can be sentimental, but what i appreciated is that they kept the drama small and (like you said) they didn't drag it out. for example the will-they-won't-they relationship between seonghwa and ikjun could've been put much more central to the show but they truly committed to the slice of life, acknowledging that sometimes things need time and people can change their mind

Season 2 was not a good as Season 1, but I certainly had this dread of emptiness as the last mins closed out. I feel like the first season subverted expectations more than the second season. The writing was less centered thematically each episode and there were more band ballads 😕 It seemed like this season every single band performance was at the end of the show and you rarely got reflections of what was going on in characters’ lives as the performances went on unlike the first season. That irked me for no good reason. It seemed lazy and related to the lack thematic episodes.

The actors were an amazing ensemble. The weaker episodes were stronger than most show’s best episodes. Not once did I complain that the second half of the season took two hours per episode!

Really looking forward to cast appearing on Na PD’s variety show!
