What Is Love & Feel Special joins Fancy as TWICEās most streamed songs on Spotify! The next song on its way is I Canāt Stop Me with 170+ million. What Is Love received a boost after the song went viral on Tiktok.
Twice also hit 3.2 billion streams in total since they were added to Spotify in Early 2018, less than three years after their October 2015 debut.
Under the cut I included the current stats for all their Korean title tracks.

Date: 2021-09-11 04:16 pm (UTC)Alcohol Freeās trajectory is similar to More & More currently. More & More I think took 6-ish months to hit 100 and I think AF will be the same. It did well in Korea (especially after ICSM struggled in comparison) but I can tell international fans were mixed on it. I still thoroughly enjoy it but I already notice I donāt stream it like other Twice songs, probably because itās a āslowerā title track compared to what they normally do. Also super summery, idk if itās for all year round
As if I donāt listen to Dance The Night Away in winterā¦But I can definitely see why Fancy, Feel Special, and What Is Love rose to the top, they have that addicting ingredient that makes TWICEās music. Iāll always wonder how their earlier songs wouldāve performed if JYPE didnāt wait so long to add them to Spotify.

Date: 2021-09-12 02:20 am (UTC)What is love is still their best mv to date! Itās simply unmatched when it comes to good vibes. I legit wrote an essay on how good the mv + song is.
Feel Special is a close second tho. I have the gold photocard of Mina in the ballgown and I treasure it with my LIFE.

Date: 2021-09-12 08:46 pm (UTC)I feel for all the songs released 2015-2017 since they were added to Spotify so late, Iām so curious how fans here wouldāve streamed huge hits like TT, Cheer Up, and Likey. Idk if theyād be huge since cute kpop fans arenāt a huge audience here but Iām sure their streams would be much higher. But a lot of current kpop fans donāt revisit older songs especially of the cute variety so I think thatās why they struggle compared to newer stuff. Like Knock Knock idk if it would reach 100 mil but I think it would have more than 46 currently!

Date: 2021-09-13 06:43 pm (UTC)even with cute kpop fans being a smaller group, i think Cheer Up especially was such a mega hit that with having gone viral, those streams would've been massive. i'd be so curious to know where that would rank, along with TT and Likey! i agree, their sound has matured so much since debut that i can definitely see newer fans or even older kpop fans that are no longer feeling the cuteness not listening to older releases. even myself, who has been a fan since sixteen, goes back to revisit certain releases only when i'm in the mood for it. i think it doesn't help that Knock Knock is from the repackage and i'm not sure if new kpop fans even listen to older repackages.
the culture of newer kpop fans not checking out older releases kind of drives me crazy lol whenever i discovered a new (to me) artist, i always go back and listen from the beginningš how are you just gonna ignore so many previous releases?? lol
