After listening to the song for a couple days, I like it a lot more than my first impression, which was ‘pretty but hella bland.’ It’s growing on me a lot and it’s already gotten stuck in my head. But I still wish it was a little less processed, it took a while before I could pick out Joo and Changkyun’s voices. And it’s so short it catches me off guard every time it ends.
But the MV is still hilarious to me and I think I figured it out why — sth about it is like a throwback to late 90s, early 00s boybands but totally unironic. It’s triggering the 90s baby in me and I can’t take it seriously at all lol. I’ve seen too much 98 degrees/O-town/Westlife/Blue (omg does anyone else remember Blue)
Plus when they’re all standing outside awkwardly grooving with a luxury sedan and fireworks in the bg I cannot lmaoo it's literally
Still, it's a good listen and I hope it does well for them. Bring on the album :)
