An insider has come forward with even more claims about NCT's Lucas.

On the 26th, a Chinese netizen A revealed testimony on Weibo that he had previously worked with Lucas and heard many stories from managers on how they suffered due to Lucas' reckless behavior.

A revealed, "In 2019, Lucas and his manager had a big fight with each other and didn't speak for a while. At the time, his manager' criticized Lucas for his extravagant life and Lucas got so angry that they got into a big fight and Lucas didn't speak to his manager for a long time. The fight had a huge effect on the other staff members as well."

A further revealed, "the managers in charge of NCT members are upper-middle-class people with relatively high positions within SM Entertainment but they suffered a lot because of Lucas. Lucas often snuck out and enjoyed dating with many women and they also had to deal with his many sasaengs."

Meanwhile, on the 25th, Lucas and SM posted apology letters admitting to "scam date" controversies and announced Lucas will be suspending all activities.

1) apparently if you're upper middle class, you're better able to deal with lucas' behavior? or it's even more sad that they had to deal with this type of behavior? the phrasing just strikes me for some reason

Why are people in "relatively high positions within SM Entertainment" being given extra jobs like being a manager. Aren't managers low on the corporate totem pole?

There's no way of knowing for sure but all the accusers and other "insiders" have very much set it up as Lucas being the trouble maker vs. the other 6. The other members have been posting on their personal social media accounts regularly (probably SM's idea) and they dont seem sad, just tired. Some of their comments seem like theyre throwing a bit of shade at Lucas but that's probably fans seeing what they want to see. Sorry for this long ass comment.

Ah. I don't follow NCT (or boy groups in general) so I have no idea. I wonder if the insiders are SM PR trying to save the rest of the group. So rather than the whole group being bad, it's one bad apple and the group overall is salvageable. Throw one under the bus the save the rest?

I know this guy is a mess but this “reveal” is just dogpiling. Idols shouldn’t have to report on their private lives, if anything it’s insane that any adult has to “sneak out” on their personal time and I don't have a lot of sympathy for agencies "suffering" due to the bizarre culture they've built and perpetuated to make themselves more money. That’s a completely different issue from how he actually treated the girls he was hooking up with. And sasaengs are unfortunately just part of the deal when managing idols and trying to make it sound like any idol is to blame for the trouble they cause is pretty gross.

I know this is 3 days old but I'm ngl, I saw Lucas front row in Atlanta at the Super M concert and he /is/ pretty/beautiful in person ngl (although Kai and Taeyong are probably the best two imo lol). Pictures don't really do him justice. BUT he's a piece of shit so carry on xD /I'm just saying, I can see why those girls would sleep with him aside from just being a fan.

It's never a good sign whenever an "insider" gives a tidbit like this and throws you under the bus. From what I understand, he's probably made enough profits to null the contract or they're going to invoke a clause which says they can fire him for behavior like this or something.

While I think it's a non-issue when someone is exposed for dating - this is extra skeevy since he's going after fans and exploiting them. Plus he seems to be borrowing money from his harem and then talking shit about his team. It's so messy.
I also am 100% sure that the management knows about the women because how can they not.

They turn a blind eye when its convenient. But yeah this is going to follow him for the rest of his life.
