We need more couples like them, to normalize idols dating. The more we have them, and the more companies stop promoting the image of forever single idols, the better!
I never understood the single idol thing. Single forever so that one day you, a random fan, could be with them. psssh. I guess it worked for a while for Lucas? hahahaha!
since I was <younger for some reason when following idols I always thought "oh I hope they get a nice partner, a nice family and don't go down in disgrace"

Idols are selling fantasies, right? But I never had the fantasy of me like...marrying an idol. Maybe other fans did. It reminds me of fan service and skinship in kpop.

Financial independence, woooo have health insurance, sexyyyyyyyyy endorse charities that help children, yeahhh encourage youngesters on searching the higher education at their own pace, hell yeahhh
cube (and many other companies) need to seriously re-brand themselves and look at their huge, big ass mistakes. Being an idol couple is totally working for Hyuna and Dawn and for their fans. I hope more couples comeout and become that open
oh that's pretty difficult i think, hyuna did really well under cube, dawn was still on the rise. dawn has gotten a lot more popular and more opportunities. of course, hyuna took a very long break under pnation for MH reasons so i find it a little bit difficult to really point out. i don't think her brand ranking changed much, she still gets a lot of opportunities what do you think?
I think Hyuna's branding is slowly changing. She went from being (her brand) this super sexualized girl to a woman with a very personal, kinda alternative style who is exploring sounds and fashion.
I didn't pay much attention to Pentagon but Shine was a hit and Dawn really helped sell it I think. I feel like Pentagon tried to recreate the sound an success with their next couple of songs but it was missing Dawn's energy. They were good but not Shine good. His solo stuff has been relatively good. Very G Dragon style which I think people like? He has been getting more things but honestly, I have only seen him in stuff with Hyuna, not solo. So I don't know about him.
Hyuna is amazing no matter what. Personally, I think she is being more selective in what she wants to be in and has more control over her career. The fact she was able to prepare and drop teasers for a comeback before deciding to put it on hold for her well being for a few months and then come back with a whole new title song says a lot I think. Same for CF deals. I feel like she is picking what plays to her strengths as opposed to anything she is given. Power Woman for sure.
