Ngl I literally posted because of that lift at the end!! I missed the guy holding her waist on first watch so I thought that 2 guys lifted her from just her feet and knees and was like woahhhhhhhhhhhhhh that's crazyyy. Especially since (I assume that) they're not trained and I'm not too familiar with cheerleading but don't flyers usually step into the bases' hands?? Although I have seen bases throw them up from their waist.

Also choosing a gif was hard bc I didn't want to fully ruin it before people had watched it.

the lift at the end is pretty common, especially when there's no throwing/flying involved. it's also used when layered with other flyers I think? but that could be my own local experience watching South East Asian cheer performances

I think one of Sunmi's best characteristics is that she doesn't take everything so serious. It may be because she has the support of a big accepting fandom. But it allows her to have more fun.

ahhh this was so fun! i wanted a cheerleading performance of this song, so happy we got it :)

only thing that frustrated me was the annoying camerawork constantly zooming in and out, it did not showcase the choreo very well

I agree that was rather irritating especially because they zoomed in at points when she's doing a move with her whole or lower body so you don't get to see it whereas it wouldn't have mattered much if she were just stood in the middle not doing much yknow.

lmfao I know cheer dance doesn't have the chant right? but I imagined them suddenly shouting: READY O-K S-U-N-M-I Y-C-S-W-U WOOOOOO!! in the middle of it. that'd be freaking hilarious

Anyway yeah it would've been weird if they had suddenly changed up the whole dance for it but now I kinda want a proper cheerleading concept with stunts and the chants or whatever. Which female artist/ groups could give us this??? Most likely TWICE right?
