I appreciate Sunmi's comments. They are not random and very on-point. She really observes the performances and even notices if the girls sings too fast and the smiles that do not reach their eyes. I enjoyed Pretty U's team performance. I had high expectations for The Eve team since they are mostly high ranking. Its like they performed as individuals and not as a team.

Pretty U definitely had the best energy and matched the song so well., there was something missing from the Eve perf, it felt like everyone was just waiting for their turn in the spotlight and they had no synergy, Hikaru didn't shine at all for me in the edited version of the performance

I don't know if it is evil editing, but it did feel like, a lot of the leaders cared about getting on with the team and reflected in their own leadership whereas FYN reaction was "how was I supposed to know if they didn't tell me" and didn't think to ask why they didn't feel like they could talk to her AND she elected herself by playing the age card, I wonder if she did and mnet just cut it out...

I love seeing the girls cheer for each other. One thing that is missing from planet 999 so far.

Personality wise.. there have not been many standouts for meso far, I hope they have a contestant that is good moodmaker like Yamada Noe

And agree with the cheers. Maybe MNET just don't show it as much as how they used to in PD101. But I really hope there's a lot of cheering there.

IMO, they could just stop the show & crown the Fiesta Team 1 the winners & I wouldn’t be mad.

I like how transparent the judges/coaches are. No hiding their reactions when the girls are doing something good or if they missed a note or step. I enjoyed the stages of Crown and Pretty U teams. Not perfect but they made me smile while watching and that's what I like the most when seeing groups perform. I watched the 2hr livestream yesterday LOL iQIYI have English subs on their livestream yey!

Mic Drop team was ok. I wish they chose a different BTS song for this. The Eve was a good choice for an EXO song and had high expectation for this team given its made up of high ranking members (is it unfair for me to expect such?) and I think they were just ok. They could've done better. As individuals, they were good but its like they lack team spirit. Pretty U was so fun to watch!!! The teams who performed IZONE and Oh My Girls songs did good by choosing these songs which were able to showcase the vocals of the members. I liked Crown team's performance fir Fiesta. Sorry for the girls who did OMG's song can't choose which one is better. I think they were ok and maybe the vocals were a bit challenging for them.

I wasn't able to give my reaction for last week stages but I love Yes or Yes team. Their leader (sorry I don't know her name yet) have such a beautiful smile she makes me smile with her LOL

EDIT: I feel so stupid for not recognizing her. She's from the season of Kpop Star that I watched and she's on the same team as Kriesha Tiu (watched most of the performances because she's from my country LOL)

I know near to nothing about this show and came here only for the Pretty U performance, but ended up watching all the others hahahah

The Pretty U perf was indeed the best imo, I caught myself smiling through it all. Mic Drop bored me so I clocked out at around the 1min mark. I think their rap and voices was a little too grating for me too. The Eve was not bad and I liked the girls that sings at 00:42, but they really had no soul as team. Such a pity, they could’ve done something good with it.

I think Mic Drop was the weakest performance of all of them. Even with the mistakes made by the HYLT teams, their performances still felt a bit stronger. I think most of the performances will fall flat when going for a stronger vibe because most of these trainees don't have the kind of charisma and presence necessary to pull off concepts like HYLT and Mic Drop (don't @ me but I don't even think BP pulled off HYLT very well...)

The winners this round were well deserved. I agreed that YOY was the overall most cohesive team. The Eve doesn’t need to worry about the votes benefit though because most of them are pretty popular and won’t be eliminated.
The vocals in SSFWL were terrible, I’m surprised the judges were so kind with their comments. Poor Bora her team wasn’t that strong, luckily she won so she’ll probably go ahead. I feel like she’ll be like Heehyun in S1, be on the fringes and not make the final group.

I went back to rewatch the Yes or Yes performance and after watching that and Pretty U I felt like the right choice was made about M Countdown.

My only problem with this series has been that I don't really love any of the songs they chose for performing. But maybe that is actually better for helping me to judge performance Vs me loving a song.

I think Fiesta and SSFWL were good concepts as evaluation, but the groups were not up to par for it. Twice and BP songs were used throughout P101 and the auditions, so I guess they were left with these 2 songs that wouldn't disadvantage contestants? they shouldn't have gone bright song vs The Eve and Mic Drop though.

the hardest fight was YOY, and YOY2 lost because of their main vocal imo. I felt that Jiwon wasn't as good as a centre as Doah though, which is a pity because I hope YOY2 members don't get cut so early.

I feel like IZONE and OMG's songs were good for this challenge. They could've picked a better BTS song. I understand that part of the challenge is to make the song theirs but I just don't think they could do a lot with Mic Drop.

agree that they could have picked a better BTS song, but it seems like all the songs picked were at most 2 years old, so it could have been a choice of recency as compared to previous P101 seasons?
