I can’t get over how much Dasom has improved, I wonder if she took more lessons. Plus my little comment in the post gives away I’ve been swooning after haha, I feel like I appreciate her way more now that she’s older.

Yes I agree! I just shared a clip of Twice singing in the lower tone in the ffa, but it definitely applies here too with Dasom. Nayeon mentioned in a recent interview that her natural singing range is deeper than what she has to do for Twice and it’s a shame that kpop prefers women singing higher and preconceived notions on their concept boxes them in.

I do too lol! I don’t mind variety but when you’re forced to do it over and over again because men find it intimidating or not cute enough, it really impacts the type of vocals we could truly be getting from kpop.

Sistar reunion 2022 with a brave sound track (one summer song plus that amazing piece he did for Brave Girls in After We Ride). Hell I would take a Brave Bros. Produced Hyolyn comeback.

Dasom sounds exactly how I expect her to sound: cute. Hyolyn does the heavy lifting, and is consistent to how good she always has been. The Linda one surprised me for Dasom. Ive been a fan since 2012 and she has maybe had one solo song moment, and it was…as expected for her skillset (a Corrine Bailey Rae cover)

That cover was one of her better moments. Truthfully, I don’t think she has changed much. She just isn’t doing choreography (or a lot of it) to bog her down. When Dasom isn’t asked to do a lot, she is ~fine~ (Case in point here with no choreography for her to worry about). But yeah she has always been that kind of girl (group member). Lovely voice though.

this was REALLY nice. makes me so proud to be a sistar fan fr. i mean hyorin is amazing as usually but i love how dasom really shines in this, especially during the linda performance.

I love Sistar and I miss them so happy about this! It surprises me how people mention Dasom and singing, the funny part is I saw her in the drama Melody of Love back in 2013 and loved her voice from the drama. I didn't know at that time she was in a group since I was just starting to get into more and more kpop!
