i like it but its definitely not as catchy as their last recent titles and it felt slow in the beginning it took like a full minute before the chorus comes in and its not even a big chorus? i can see it growing on me but i feel like its kind of a weird choice for the title its not super impactful on a first listen, i don't have the time to listen to the whole album but even based on the teasers they already released of other songs those seemed catchier.
i like some of the playful choreo and the beginning and ending of the mv with the animations worked in were nice, the whole thing should have had more of that. and felixs hair (sans the basic beanie look) are awful in this 😬
i do love their noise though so im excited to listen to the whole album when i have spare time.
The subunit songs are great; all very distinct in style and tone. Gone Away and Red Lights are standouts. The rest of the b-sides (except for Cheese) are meh.
I kinda like this??? idk, i like songs that sound like marching bands and this has that lmao, I hate god's menu but back door is such a bop and this one is good too imo, still not interested in them as a group lol

cheese and sick were a lot more interesting. there's a couple other nice songs on here but istg every time jeongin opens his mouth he ruins a song. and I hate seungmin's vocal tone
btw can anyone objectively summarize hyunjin's situation to me? someone made a 58 page doc but I AM NOT READING ALL THAT in defense of man omfg. from what I could gather of jype's ridiculously ambiguous and unclear statements, it seems it was a toxic class environment and he made harsh statements which he apologized for. but there were more severe accusations? and idk what the deal with that is bc stays never fully translated the posts and I never saw anything bc in all honesty I tend to avoid stays as much as possible bc they're annoying and dumb. I'm in a discord sever with stays and tho they like to pretend they're smart, they're all oppalogists... I can handle dumb teenagers being dicks but harassing women or abusive behavior is NOT forgivable.
so rn idk how to feel about this group bc hyunjin and minho are the only good looking ones.
