I checked out the Queendom stage to see if I would like it more with the choreo, but not really, most of it was quite unmemorable, and the only bit that stands out just makes me think immediately of Twice and knock knock.

They didn't even make the crown wearing bit memorable, I really expected more of a deal to be made out of that for a song called Queendom

I feel bad that Weeekly’s song didn’t make much a splash compared to After School even if I’m not much of a fan. For example on Spotify it’s only at 2 million streams, that’s performing pretty poorly. :( I’m just kinda bummed since they had their momentum building at least internationally with AS but Holiday Party didn’t keep the ball rolling. I hope they’re more careful with choosing their next title choice.

Speaking of RV, their latest album sold 150,000 copies their first day, that’s the highest ever for RV. YG already prescribed to this mindset but now with a SM group returning after a long break of no group music to see highest 1st day sales for an album release, I wonder if that will inspire SM to do this more like YG already does. Also I wonder if JYP will catch on to that too, as that’s the antithesis of how JYPE works lol.
It makes sense that older groups comeback less vs at their peak, but YG was doing that well before his group got “old” so it’ll be interesting if other big groups follow suit.

Also bummed Sunmi’s song didn’t do well, at least I appreciate if they don’t lol 😩 I will say this choreo isn’t interesting, I think for a song like this it could’ve been better.

I'm not surprised about Red Velvet since there were 3 album versions. At least they didn't try to release member-specific jewel cases, which is now apparently spreading to other fandoms lol
