Since people were talking in my last post - NCT 127 mentioned 17th of September as a comeback date.
Also, at this point NCT 2021 is being heavily implied/teased + Lucas/Hendery sub-unit is basically already confirmed.
It's a bit early, but happy anniversary to NCT Dream!!!

Omg your first 127 comeback???? Youre in for a fun ride!!! The members have already started saying spoilers (i.e that date, their favorite part of the title track) on their lives so im 99.999% sure the date is true unless SM big time messes up

yes!! i got into nct through the resonance era, so no 127 comeback for me yet. i'm really excited, they have probably my favorite title tracks from any of the nct unts tbh (i know that's not exactly a popular opinion around these parts tho lol). this summer of kpop has been really fun, but i confess i'm getting a little bored of all the light summer songs so i'm really hoping for something bold and big from 127.

127 has my favorite title tracks out of the permanent units too, so we can be unpopular together lol. although i didn't like most of the music that came out of resonance that's probably a super fun era to be introduced to them in because it's sooooo much at once.
Im sure 127 will pull through because it's their MO at this point. I have doubts that they'd ever release something like Touch again as a title track. (although I LOVED touch since it was a breath of fresh air from what they released up until that point)

it was definitely fun but overwhelming, now that i'm familiar with the individual units tho i feel like i took all the cross-unit content for granted, lmao. i'm excited for the next big nct project though i hope they don't do something on the level of resonance for a while, it has more impact when it comes rarely.

i loved touch too, but yeah, i think it's best if it stays as a one-off experiment for them lol.

This is exactly how I feel. I liked that there was such a long break between NCT 2018 and NCT 2020.

Plus timing-wise I just don't see how they fit NCT 2021 into this year on the same scale as NCT 2020. Didn't the Year Party video come out in September last year? And then promotions lasted through awards season. This year NCT 127 will still be promoting in September. I feel like it's going to be rushed if they do it.

(And shouldn't Shotaro and Sungchan be in a permanent unit first? 😞)

we were talking abt this on ontd the other day, but i don’t think the nct 2021 stuff they said was happening is going to be anything like a big album project. my guess is that it will be something like another black on black or resonance, a performance single for the end of year shows. i just don’t think anything bigger than that is feasible given everything else that still has to happen this year lol but i guess we’ll see!!

I randomly came across the Red Flavor orchestra version some time ago and I really like it too! SM has mentioned that they want to release more orchestra versions during their congress a couple of weeks ago, so we should be getting more of them!

From what I've noticed on Tik Tok / Instagram pinkblood is basically a place where SM posts fan covers to promote their own groups, but also the challenges that start whenever a new song is released - Hot Sauce, Second, Weekend, Next Level all had some sort of challenge related to the choreo. I believe pinkblood might be the official name for SM stans in general, although it is awful and they haven't explained this at all, simply opened the accounts.

Resonance was officially released last year, but also promoted this year on year end shows and some concerts I think.
