omg i love it txt never miss. they really suit their recent angsty concepts and beomgyu deserves all his screentime/lines he really shines in this concept. i always turn off subs when i listen to a song for the first time so i did do a double take and had to turn them back on to check if beomgyu really was swearing or i'd misheard it, they are fully embracing the rebellious vibe lol.
album wise the lovesong remix does nothing for me and while moa diary is very cute fan song it's probably not something i would listen to much. but whatever its a repackage and the title is great.
totally agree with everything you said, I personally find it adorable when these 5 cute lil bunnies try to act "rebellious" b/c they're just too sweet, but I like that they try and I find it endearing. They might be my fave bg rn
i think thats what works for them with this concept! like to me the angsty teenager thing is so specific to being like 14/15 that them at around 20 are probably too old for it lol but because they have that sweet vibe them acting out teen rebellion seems more genuine and less try hard lol. and agreed on them being faves their output has been so consistently good even though they've done quite a few different concepts.
Not something I'd add to my playlists (I'm way past angst stage lol) but I do like it! It's unique and different from what's out there right now. And oooh, wait a minute, are we about to have a Rock Renaissance in kpop?? Here for that tbh - I'd love a more classic rock sound like SHINee's Why so serious.

the big bang reject-ness of it all.. the overprocessed, near indistinguishable vocals aren't helping either but i didn't mind them too much in crown or run away
They are SO good. And they always do their own thing/their own sound (with the notable exception that Blue Hour was obviously a (better) carbon copy of Dynamite).
No one is doing it on their level rn. I'm so impressed with them and they've justified my icon choice lol.
