It's a fresh pop song, not my everyday cup of tea but it's cute and the outfits of this MV are fire. That checkered suit with the fuchsia shirt <3 I love Ten, I wish him all the best, he's an incredible performer and dancer. Funny how he sticks to English of all the languages he speaks.
i was worried i wouldn't like this based off the mv teaser yesterday and it for sure isn't the edgy ho anthem i was hoping for based off the title and early teasers lol but i do love it. it's fun and fresh and energetic and i just love ten, he's such a force.

he is a STAR. this isn't my favorite out of his station releases but you can clearly see the happiness radiating off of him here and that makes me love it more.
He is such a great dancer and he is so charismatic, he was born to be a performer, that being said some of you said he was Taemin's son and i was disappointed with the song, why only him and Kai give me all I want?
i love him dearly but ten doesn't currently have the kind of coherent musical/artistic identity that taemin does. taemin seems to have always had a confident and clear idea of exactly the kind of solo artist he wants to be, ten seems much more experimental and scattered. he said on bubble that he wanted to have fun and try something new with this so i don't get the sense he wants this to be His Sound and His Brand. this is the reason why i don't ascribe to the "ten is taemin's heir" narrative as much as others who love both of them, bc i think taemin has a coherent vision for himself that ten doesn't and might never have, but hopefully he gets an actual solo debut one day where we can see if he's worked all that out
also just want to add that its a station song, his 3rd one at that so he probably was fine experimenting and he was probably just happy to get some solo work. i wouldn't exactly count this as official solo debut, it wasnt even posted on the main channel, it went to the specific sm station channel. i agree with you that i still think he's figuring out his sound and he's consistently talked about wanting to do r&b or r&b/rock, so i assume when he puts out an album he'd go more in that direction. honestly think this fell into his lap because it has a very free spirit/artsy vibe that is him and they probably thought of ten due to the title.

yeah, exactly! i know he's been trying out songwriting lately and i wondered if this song might be a result of that, but it looks like it wasn't and was something that fell into his lap, like you said. i definitely don't think it's indicative of the direction his solo career will take (which better be coming gdi sm, but i guess i shouldn't talk abt it as an inevitability bc who knows).

yeah he's not credited with the lyrics, for which i'm kind of thankful. although i dont think they are as bad as i was thinking because sometimes sm english songs sound a bit well "interesting". i think one of the writers who worked on this song worked on the english version of love talk. tbh not that its a huge deal ten's own lyrics from the little he's shared so far tend to be gender neutral so i didnt think he'd be part of the song writing plus sm is very strict about that stuff, senior artists have to fight to get their work through. i think the song writing/producing he's been working on with various producers is more of his own personal thing to just learn, pass the time etc.
ten's music taste has always been pretty eclectic, but from what he's spoken about and i've seen of him, i dont think pop rock is his go to genre. hmmm i think it will be a while, and maybe by then he'll have completely figured out his vision of what he wants for himself.

I'm surprised this is the type of sound he would choose as a first release tbh. I'm not really into the song but the visuals really suit him and you can see he's really into it.
well this is just another station release technically, but it is the first one he's promoting/performing so i am also kind of surprised by the choice. i hope he gets a proper solo debut soon, i was saying above i think he would benefit from being forced to commit to something beyond a single throwaway song lol
Not bad! I love the visuals so much. They styling and just the overall~aesthetic~ They could handed learned into the pop rock-y sound just a little bit more, I really liked that
SM could be really interesting and invite Ten to collab with aThai artists for a station song
