Literally in love with Kim Seo Hyung and Lee Bo Young, I finished watched Mine last week and it was so gooooooooood!!! The last few eps felt a bit meh but I enjoyed the ending. I'm watching Nobody Knows now. I'll watch Nevertheless once it's finished
mine was unexpectedly good, i had quite low expectations going in despite liking the cast but it turned out really good! it definitely had moments/eps that dragged though. how are you liking nobody knows? i preferred nobody knows by far to mine, but i prefer crime dramas over makjangs anyway, but i hope you're enjoy it!
I haven't watched many kdramas and I definitely don't care for the lives of rich people but yeah it was so good, I almost dropped it in the first ep but I'm so glad I didn't! The mystery aspect def kept me watching. I thought I had it all figured out and then I was like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?! lolol.
I really like nobody knows but ooft it's heavy so I'm still only on ep 3, I was trying to find something light to watch in between but I ended up watching a Japanese medical drama that is kinda heavy too, what can I say, I'm a sucker for detective and medical dramas :p
Tbh I find all kdramas are just too long and kinda lag in the second half, it's like they realised they don't have enough material but it happens everytime. It's why I prefer to binge watch kdramas, if I'm not that invested and I have to wait, I just won't bother. I tend to prefer jdramas 11 eps is just a lot better and it goes faster.
nobody knows is definitely a bit heavy so it's a good idea to break it up! but i thought it was a no skip drama whereas with mine there were a lot of scenes with like the bible group and the overdramatic rich people that i ended up fast forwarding lol even though i really liked it overall.
i've never watched a jdrama but kdramas definitely do have a lot of filler and most of them could do with being reduced to even 12 episodes instead of 16 i think would make a difference in the quality. the worst ones are the dramas that turn out popular and get extended to 20 eps half way through its so unnecessary!
Yeah exactly, I feel 16 is such a random number too like why. Japanese dramas are split up into different seasons, so you'll have the spring dramas and then summer etc. which is fun because there's always a new wave of dramas. Each season is like 3 months so they're usually 11 eps so they fit. Sucks when stuff ends too quickly but at least they don;t drag on FOREVER like american tv shows lol
very true like i complain about maintaining quality over 16 eps but american shows having multiple seasons is the reason i mostly stick to only watching british or korean tv these days though kdramas are starting to have multiple seasons of stuff more frequently :/ i understand if you like a show wanting to see more of the characters but unless a story was always planned to be multiple seasons its usually a bad idea!
