Dance practice in masks seems awful, although I guess it's probably better indoors in a temperature controlled room than what I'm imagining (my previous gym with no windows and no ac lol), or at least I hope so.
Wooyoung hair watch: Does this mean he cut it somewhere in May? He still had the chaotic black in Wild Six ep.5, which was filmed around middle of May, which was also when they were recording, but from this it seems like he cut it during recording as well. Maybe early June? Also did he perm it too? In one of the jacket shoot bts he says that he intentionally waited to cut it until closer to cb, but what does this mean exactly? I also think he cut it further after that shoot. Enquiring minds would like to know.
They did mention during the iHeartRadio interview that they felt like they weren't as "on top" of their dancing because wearing masks made it really difficult. I remembered that at the beginning of the pandemic, even walking around with a mask on was really hard for someone who's not used to it, so to dance the way they do with one on, regardless of how fit they are was probably difficult.
Based on this IG live (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4itM502xOw) I think he had already cut his hair. And that was early May. Whenever he starts wearing hats and hoodies with the hood pulled up, I usually take that as a sign that the boy did something to his hair and we should all be breaking out our rosary beads.
This reminds me that I didn't finish the iHeartRadio interview (got like 5 min in and got distracted by something shiny literally as a spider spun a web outside my window, what has life become?), I'll get to that during work tomorrow lol. It makes sense that they wouldn't feel comfortable dancing in the masks though, I can't even imagine.
Already May! You're probably right! I wonder what kind of job it was to even fit that volume in under a hat lol the Hold You video shows it in an untamed(?) state and it's just so big
It was such a good interview. I loved them really trying to answer in English where they could, especially when they were asked in Korean.
I get so mad when I think about his hair because he won the genetic lottery in having really beautiful, thick hair, even when he consistently destroyed it in his twenties. I genuinely love when he breaks out the bird's nest look.
It's upsetting. We see idols take a bludger to their hair so regularly, but Wooyoung just looks so beautiful with his - as you say - extremely thick and shiny natural hair. I think the collective has suffered through enough and it's been such a great time post-discharge. I don't hate the current hair but the way it's styled and the clothes they're styling him with, he looks like a small kid next to the 30 year olds! WHY
