I love it! It's reggaeton/moombahton beat yet again but the song is catchier than Burn It and it already grabbed me since the teaser. Tag singing and Bomin rapping is a nice switch, and Joochan's part in the bridge is a standout. Daeyeol looks fab in that sleeveless top, and I really like Tag's side undercut and Seungmin's red hair. Can't wait for the dance ver. MV, the choreo looks intense from the showcase.



They improved on what they did with the Burn It cinematic MV, presenting a compelling storyline without the video being too long and cutting off the song in the middle. They can always make a longer drama ver. with the scenes that got cut. That ending really seems like a metaphor for Daeyeol's upcoming enlistment and Y becoming interim leader...

My guess is on another webtoon as was the case foe Burn It? That would be cool, the storyline here isn't the most original but they can do something nice with it.

Is it their last comeback before Daeyeol's enlistement and Y becomes temporary leader? Because if so... they decided to showcase it in the most dramatic way omg. Not complaining, it's a great MV and I miss when kpop had simple but ambitious storylines for one MV, and it would really make them for these two to be casted in these roles.
Also Daeyeol looks fine?! Haha they wanna make fans miss him once he's enlisted!

I like the song, though it's not their best and not my particular favourite sound either (at least it wasn't released at the peak of moonbahton-inspired kpop comebacks... lol). I wish the song relied less on the ra pam pam chant as they sound good when they sing and the line distribution is pretty good I thought?
But hey it's one of the very few boy groups I follow so my bias is also talking here...

the video doesn't go with the vibe of the song but i can separate that i guess. the song itself is too close to burn its sound which was their worst title so far but i think this might be worse? why is woollim giving them bg reject songs from like 5 years ago? its so dated :(
previously to their last 2 albums i would have said they had a flawless discography but i'm really not enjoying the new direction of their titles at all and i dont think it shows off the members well either. the rest of the album didnt sound super promising from the medley even though i think there will be a few i'll enjoy so im finding it hard to get the energy to go to listen to it.
golcha really are one of my favourite groups so it really sucks being this disappointed with one of their releases. :/

and semi related but i cannot get used to bomin's new face its like i keep forgetting about it every time he leaves the screen and then get newly shocked every time he pops up

bottom of the ocean is the worst song golcha has ever released hands down nothing will ever come close. it sounds vaguely country? the lyrics are awful like honestly who did this to them? i'm sorry to the guys but i need this era to flop so woollim will never release something like this again

fanfare is bad too and really dated like did they drag up songs from years ago for this album??? spell is a little better than fanfare i guess but i don't really feel the need to listen to it again either

daeyeols solo and the unit songs are listenable but they have nothing on their other unit songs from their 1st album

this album just really lacks any of their usual sound or charm i think its the most disappointed i've ever been in an album? i'm so devastated lmao i just need to pretend this never happened and pray woollim wises up for their next release

Yeah I was disappointed with the album. I enjoy Ra Pam Pam for what it's worth, but I was expecting more with Game Changer, bsides are where most group including GolCha usually shine. I'm not going to replay it often

I didn't think that it would get more embarrassing than Jangjun's Make Me Love intro but here we are!
Not only were these lyrics written, they were vetted by Woollim, and then recorded by the guys (props to them for singing it so happily, I would have not been able to).
