The two former Sistar members are pairing up as a unit duo project! Their unit is a project under contents lab VIVO, headed by Song Eun Yi. The song is out August 10th.

Truthfully if this was just Hyolyn, I wouldn’t be interested much. I haven’t really paid attention to her with her own bullying scandal allegations awhile back, I wonder if anything would be different since hers was before the large bullying controversies recently. Idk how I feel about her lately, but also either way her newer stuff isn’t all that interesting.

BUT, this is the closest thing I’m getting to anything Sistar so I’ll take it lol. I wish Soyou could’ve joined it, but idk if she’s unavailable. I’d love OT4 but I’ll take 2 members at least. Very intrigued at what we’ll get from this duo. I think it’s great that Dasom is performing again!

That’s why I wish Soyou was included since you know she’s get her share. Dasom idk haha she and Bora were the least prominent members even though their inclusion still made Sistar special. So I’m happy Dasom is there either way.

I've kinda lost interest in watching her performances and will only tune in to her MVs when it's released, but at least she did something, as compared to many others who just avoid/sue the victims

True but it didn’t help my opinion of her much especially with she handled it initially rubbed me the wrong way.

Basically I’m glad it was resolved but it tarnished how I viewed her, like Irene in Red Velvet. At least it was when she was younger and hopefully she changed but idk, my faith in celebs progressing isn’t high. All I can do is hope.

Afaik those accusations ended up being pretty shaky and not very credible. Ofc we'll never really know but it seemed like it ended up being one of those cases where they didn’t get along or fought in the past and the accuser was holding a grudge. In any case they did meet in person and resolve things. But Hyorin’s always had a ton of haters and iljin rumors so people just ran with the school violence. Like she doesn’t come off great and personally I don’t like her that much lol but iirc there’s a lot of reasonable doubt there.

No but for real, I’m excited. Sistar was really the last group I stanned and I miss their K pop version of a hot girl summer. We may have talked slicked about it while it was happening, but look at what we were left with! Summer BENN cancelled.

Even if this sucks, none of these new girls were giving summer queens. Seasonal Dutchess at best.

wait, isn't Dasom an actress now? surprised she's involved musically when she didn't strike me as one invested in it. but yay for 2nd gen reunions! Dasom as the maknae was a nice touch to Sistar, who had strong/fierce vibes and it's nice to see the other members dote on her

I was surprised too, I thought Dasom was done with all of this. That makes it pretty special that she’s back in music even if it’s for a short time

I wonder if the Starship history made it easier as compared to for Bora, because Bora's acting career doesn't seem to be going anywhere and she probably needs a boost. now that she's under KeyEast, who is apparently owned by SM, there might be more collaborations for her musically where she could feature in Soshi stuff I guess.

I would have rather bet on Soyou for a collab since she's still actively singing — she didn't have a "proper" comeback in a while but she drops singles, OSTs or collabs on a regular basis. I thought Dasom stopped music entirely! Very nice to see her featuring here!

Sistar left us too soon ㅠㅠ I’ve been watching their stages and listening to their summer songs on repeat lately and they’re still all so good and they were sooooooooo gorgeous (plus so great at varieties too). One and only summer queens 💖💖💖💖
