Plot: Tak Dong Kyung has been working hard ever since her parents passed away. Her life seemed more stable after working as an web novel editor for 6 years, but then she gets diagnosed with brain cancer. She blames her unlucky life and wishes to curse everything to disappear, which unintentionally calls Myeol Mang, a messenger between humans and gods, to appear. He says that he can grant her wishes. As her last hope, she makes a contract with Myeol Mang for a hundred days to live how she wants, risking her everything.

yes, yes, yes

i would not recommend tbh, i only finished because i started posting these and i'm a bit of a completionist. the storyline didn't really make sense to me, the romance between the two main leads felt sudden. i only liked all the non-romantic relationships. seo in guk and park boyoung are good actors so that sort of made up for it

I think I could ignore plot/explanations, etc., but would you consider it fast paced?

I am needing a break from filler or dragged out scenes .... like slooooooow walking with pauces of 30+ seconds between sentences for half the scenes in an episode.

it definitely drags in some bits, i honestly think this show could've benefited from less episodes eps 1-6 are really good but the middle could've been quicker imo! i also saw ppl saying they watched at 1.25 speed and that it didn't make the dialogue unlistenable, lol! so it might be a little slow for you

I would probably give it a 6-6.5/10. Would have probably dropped it if it weren't for the two leads.

The relationships between all the couples were so underdeveloped. I barely cared for Joo Ik/Ji Na because it didn't make sense, nor was it believable. Joo Ik's character was too stale for me lol. Lee Soo Hyuk barely saved it. Will he ever get a good role????

The last episode dragged for me, but maybe that's because I saw spoilers already. This drama had potential, but it definitely fizzled out for me halfway through. They should have incorporated more side stories showing Doom doing his thing and punishing people or something. And Dong Kyung just miraculously getting better made me roll my eyes lol

agree completely. i feel like they set the stakes for this drama really high in the beginning (dongkyung terminally ill! the world might end! her loved one would die!) but halfway through we kind of lost sight of what the stakes really were. the drama just did not commit: not to the fantasy, not to the chemistry of the secondary love line (even the romance between the two leads felt sudden for me), and not for the terminally illness storyline. when dongkyung went to cut her hair to prepare herself for chemo, but did not do it in the end, it kind of felt like a cop-out both for the storyline but also because they did not want to make pby 'not pretty'

Yeah, they did not commit to Doom's personality either. I thought he was jaded and spiteful of the world??? How did he turn into a softie so quickly?? Lol. He gave up being cruel to Dong Kyung so fast...(when he said he'd stop holding her hand). She saved his life once and that was enough for him? I needed a little more than that for someone who hated the world so much.

Wompp. I really had such high expectations since Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk are such great actors. PBY hasn't been that good in picking her dramas. Maybe she should stop picking fantasies lol.

yessss i also was so confused about his personality lol it changed so suddenly! like they could've made him slowly soften up for dongkyung and maybe her family but still hate the rest of the world, or have him go through some proper character development :(

Yessss he just changed overnight. Definitely should have taken more time to have him slowly warm up to Dong Kyung. This is where the side stories could have helped. Honestly, not a lot happened in the drama...at least not much significant, which, I guess isn't always necessary for like, slice of life dramas, but this was not marketed that way sooo.

I loveddddddd PBY in Oh My Ghost, too!! I did mostly like Bong Sun. Her and Hyungsik were a good match. Abyss was a messssssssssssss. I couldn't finish it. I feel like I've liked more of her movies than dramas. Really liked Scandal Makers, A Werewolf Boy, Hot Young Bloods, and On Your Wedding Day.

exactly, that would've been a good road to go. i did like the slice of life elements to the drama (like the scenes her family and friends and coworkers) but it did not fully feel like a slice of life... the drama just did not commit to anything. we should've written the drama lol

oh my ghost was such a good drama! i also loved kim seulgi in it, i wish she would star in more dramas too. i will check out her movies then to cleanse myself from this drama lol. for sig i'm considering watching shopping king louie, have you seen it?

Yes! Kim Seulgi was great in that. Have you watched splish splash love? She was also good in that! It's was a cute drama special.

I loved On Your Wedding Day. Her and Kim Young Kwang are cute together. Wish they'd do a drama together! Werewolf Boy was great too and has Song Joong Ki.

I haven't watched shopping king Louis, but I heard good things about it. I would recommend The Smile Has Left Your Eyes with SIG. It is a melo though and with some mystery/suspense so it has a darker feel to it like a crime show. It's good and the leads had great chemistry.

it draaaggs. the main characters talk in philosophical circles about life and death, etc. and they have one too many "quiet" moments where nothing much is really happening, just characters standing there and we are shown the shot in like 5 different angles while the music plays. NOT worth watching for me. Plot had potentially but poorly written. The show's quality rested on the shoulders of the main leads' acting talent and charisma and the over the top production budget.

so the deity girl wants Doom to be human? they just grant Myeol Mang a wish, and he goes back to her just like that. really it was not that hard to think in some storyline for them. so he was just a doctor and rich good for you Myeol Mang what a catch, nothing makes sense they give us nothing!!!!!!!!!

they drop the balll, the story move fast but then they got nothing , they have great thing to work with it, backstories. so many thing to go with. but they justmake everything fine with out much saying why only bc the deity want it to.

Park Bo Young ruined it for me. Apparently the girl cannot shed a tear, so she scream cries.

Seo In Guk, Lee Soo Hyuk and Kang Tae Oh... bring them all back in a drama without her.
