We recently discovered many defamatory posts with malicious slander, circulation of groundless false information, personal attacks, etc. about our agency’s artists.

Regarding this, we have finished collecting the first round of evidence based on the company’s internal monitoring and tips, and we plan on taking legal action via a law firm to protect our agency’s artists from malicious actions.

We will continue to take legal action regularly for malicious actions against our agency’s artists such as malicious slander, circulation of false information, personal attacks, etc. through continuous monitoring and tips, and there will be absolutely no lenience.

it really saddens me that being a feminist is considered to be so terrible by so many korean men, i've seen recent polling data that suggest that more and more especially younger generations of men are increasingly voting conservative and are opposing gender equality policies :(

It's just not in Korea.

In my country there's this political group on the rise (translated their name is called Enough) and one thing they want to do to women if they reach to power is, arrest women who had abortions (even if it was due to rape etc) and remove their ovaries. They also target the LGBTQ+ community saying they are the reason women are violated, especially because now men pretend to be trans to spy women and they target minorities saying they are the reason there's no jobs.

They are gaining a scary amount of support

that is really scary, really some handmaid's tale associations. the groups they target are already so vulnerable and their rhetoric only makes it worse

it is definitely not a uniquely korean problem — also in my country there are both christian and atheist parties, that hold very conservative and often explicitly anti-feminist views, the latter gaining a lot of support in the previous elections.

They are only for the white man, and that's it. The party's leader wife is extremely religious and approves of all of this, which makes it even scarier for women cause they can't even find comfort on someone their own gender
