tear drop will be a sad jam from what i can tell. but most of these snippets aren't giving me enough to already know if and which songs i will love, except maybe for love again and off my mind? i am liking the sound of almost all of the instrumentals though, the album does sound coherent and the little videos in this highlight melody were nice. what's your impression, op?
honestly not great 🤐 i'm hoping its just the way they've put together the medley but nothing really stands out to me and some of them sound a bit similar. the sound of the title doesn't excite me so far either i have very much lowered my expectations lol. i do think its just these snippets and i'll like the full versions, i think a lot of the clips are oddly focused on rap lines parts which is maybe why i'm not vibing with it as much on first impression.
yeah agree, there's no clear standouts/catchy parts for now so in terms of creating hype for this comeback, this highlight reel is not it lol. from what i could tell from the snippets most of the choruses now seem to be handled by the rap line and to be fair sf9's vocals >>> so i'm not really understanding that choice.
the members seem very excited about the sound for this album though so like you said, i'm just waiting for the full versions (at the same time, they never choose to perform my fave b-sides by them it seems so now i'm not really sure if i can trust the members tastes on this completely lol)
yeah i agree like i don't mind sf9's rapline, it's better than a lot of other groups but their vocals are still way superior to me so a rapline dominated sound is not for me i'm hoping its just the sections they chose to show and the distribution is better in the actual songs.
and i don't trust their taste lmao its very rare that any of the members name their favourite track the same as mine except occasionally rowoon.
