Plot: Tak Dong Kyung has been working hard ever since her parents passed away. Her life seemed more stable after working as an web novel editor for 6 years, but then she gets diagnosed with brain cancer. She blames her unlucky life and wishes to curse everything to disappear, which unintentionally calls Myeol Mang, a messenger between humans and gods, to appear. He says that he can grant her wishes. As her last hope, she makes a contract with Myeol Mang for a hundred days to live how she wants, risking her everything.

both of na ji na love interests are awful, imo... she deserves better! cha joo ik thinking he had a right to save her from a broken heart ^(??) by covering for hyun kyu is no better. especially since neither of them are letting ji na figure out her feelings in the present, & it'd be different for me if all of them matured past how they were acting as teens but they're clearly not

shame that the b-plot is like this since i love ji na

now i'm here to talk about the a-plot, tho. i'm still really enjoying the slice of life, low fantasy vibes in this. if it really went into world building i'm not sure that i'd be watching still tbh 🤐 (even if that's a common complaint for ppl, idc about lore)! and the slice of life vibes were really strong this week with dongkyung's auntie back~ the family dinner scene was soooo awkward but it gave me more of sunkyung acting like This around myeol mang so i can't complain akfjdjsjk

also just... dongkyung introducing kim sa ram to all her auntie, former colleagues & ji na as the american doctor and then saying he acts as an overprotective puppy when she's around others. the fluff i need!

i watched both of these eps like as soon as they were subbed (am obsessed 😭) & probably need to keep better track of what's happening in each episode / week but whatever... i just always feel like i'm skipping over things i wanted to comment on!

dongkyung deciding to treat her family & friends because she was planning on leaving them was heartbreaking once her intentions were told. and the fact that she thinks it's the only way to save them (along with myeol mang) is so !!
like i said, i don’t really care about the lore so i'm not 100% on the terms of the contract but i hope there's a third option we don't know about, even if it's one the baby deity needs to enact instead of myeol mang... tho also, if the world needs doom (meaning he can't die, considering we do know that myeol mang has tried to) & he's the one that dongkyung loves most. wouldn't that void the terms of the contract, anyway? i dunno, sounds like sound logic to me!

also the scene with the baby deity shielding herself from myeol mang because her condition is getting worse... ugh ☹️

you're right joo ik is terrible too but he's very pretty so tbh when he's on screen i just look at his face lol

i also realized watching the latest episode that i shouldn't be watching this drama anymore for the lore, but rather to see a woman learning to choose for her own life to love rather than living for her loved ones if that makes sense? i feel like that's the journey dongkyung is making, from living to take care of her brother and other people's needs to living to take care of herself.
+ like you said all the scenes with her family and friends.. i think i like those scenes better than the love story (esp the secondary love story) because i love na jina, seonkyung and auntie! they're the sweetest. and seonkyung didn't cry these 2 episodes so that's a small victory lol

i did not really like the jealous overprotective bf scenes by myeol mang, because it was so unnecessary, she was saying goodbye, but i did really like the final scene where he forced her to say what she wanted.

i think there's also a third option somewhere! but not sure what the option is lol

for myeol mang and dongkyung i thought the move made sense, for the trio however.... now that i think of it, i hope she doesn't get together with either, she's spent so much time hung up over horrible hyungyu — she should learn to be happy by herself first without these emotionally unavailable men

I'm so behind. Just finished these episodes. The story with the second leads/love triangle is moving too slowly while the main couple moved too fast. Nothing has happened and I don't buy Joo Ik liking Ji Na. She definitely doesn't have those sort of feelings towards him at all. Hyun Kyu is meh. I don't really care for his character and I have a hard time believing they're both still hung over each other after NINE years. lol.

Not buying the main leads' romance either, but I'm like whatever at this point lol. I will just keep watching for PBY and SIG...and LSH. ;) Def giving up on the plot now especially since I saw the preview and the goddess is just going to erase their memories??????????? What are you doing, writer??!!

i totally feel you! i can kind of accept the fast pace of the main couple because dongkyung is dying, but it does feel sudden. as i wrote in a comment above, i also realized watching the latest episode that i shouldn't be watching this drama anymore for the lore (edit: + realistically paced love story), but rather to see a woman learning to choose for her own life to love rather than living for her loved ones if that makes sense? i feel like that's the journey dongkyung is making, from living to take care of her brother and other people's needs to living to take care of herself.

Haha yes at ignoring the lore. I feel like we were scammed. This is a light fantasy drama at best. There's barely been any fantasy elements in the last few episodes. I was expecting it to be integrated throughout the drama with side stories on how doom carries out his tasks (like that knife killer guy) but nopee.

I do like ji na's character too but she doesn't seem to have much chemistry with Joo Ik lol. Just not sure where they're trying to go with this love triangle. Will LSH not get the girl AGAIN?!

Omg if we get a truck of doom, I will riot!!!
