INFINITE members reunite for their 11th anniversary

On June 9th, Infinite members, Kim Sunggyu, Jang Dongwoo, Lee Sungyeol and Lee Sungjong reunited and did a livestream on INFINITE's official VLIVE to celebrate the group's 11th anniversary. It comes as a pleasant surprise as most of them left Woollim Entertainment earlier this year, save for Lee Sungjong and Nam Woohyun (who is currently in the army alongside Myungsoo). Except, it is not so surprising considering that last year, leader Sunggyu hosted a livestream for their 10th anniversary alongside with former member Kim Myungsoo who left the company in 2019.


For context, they did a VLIVE stream and called Woohyun at some point. Since Woohyun cannot physically be there with them, they concluded the livestream after one hour and then joined Woohyun on instalive. They went on memory lane, sang, played games and quizzes, exposed each others' ugly pics, roasted each other and were their snarky loud selves. lol

Sungjong is buying infinite bracelets for his hyungs using his own money, he said he prepared them from 1 month ago

Jjong said that he feels thankful the most to the members for reaching this 11th anniv, they kept him afloat whenever he went through hardships. He said that he liked that Sunggyu always gave him the most realistic advises, a wake up call during those times.#인피니트

Sungjong was curious about the members' reaction when they get the bracelets, he thought they would tease them, but he was surprised that the hyungs actually was touched.

Aww, they were my fave bg (and kpop group overall) back in 2012-2014/15! I agree with people saying it makes me happy to see they're still in touch, they always seemed close and had a nice bond with e/o~ (It seems MS and SY are still the bestfriends haha).

This is really making me wish they had a proper 7 year career — like, after 2014 their management was a mess, they were one of the most popular bgs back then and then they only had a (korean) cb per year (or none in 2017, I think) and pretty much just faded out :(

Hopefully they can regroup and have a cb or two.

My OG boys <3 I'm happy to see that they're all still friends, and we get to hear snippets of them meeting up with each other (I think Sungyeol is now signed under 2SANG as well?). I played their songs yesterday, and the nostalgia really hit, knowing that I spent my college life with INFINITE.

Happy 11 years~ It seems so surreal to think about, but I'm so glad they made it this far. I put both the vlive and the group IG live as background noise and hearing them laugh and be dumb just makes me miss them more. With the number of comebacks from 2nd gen groups this year, maybe they can have one next year when Myungsoo's out of the military? (I know Woohyun still has 2 months left) Or maybe they can do a unit, I just really want new music from them :((

I'm still mad that Woollim dropped the ball with them sometime in 2014 and many other things, but I really hope they can work something out despite being under different companies.

They're one of the few groups I like. It's sad how mismanaged they were and most of their careers went pretty much nowhere. I hope they will do something once Woohyun and Myungsoo are discharged and it revives their career.
