Cube didn’t confirm it yet but there’s talks of Yujin from CLC being on the show. Most likely not to represent CLC imo, probably to continue her own career since CLC is basically done from what Elkie said

But even then it’s weird since she’s from a group with a fanbase, she definitely has some type of following even though she’s not from a famous group so idk seems kinda unfair popularity wise?

I'm guessing there will be more contestants who already debuted. Aside from Yujin, a previous article said Cherry Bullet will participate in this. It didn't say which member(s).

Mnet likes to have an idol from a ~failed~ group for the pity montages and redemption story line, with a set (but not big) fandom to get crazily invested. It started with Dia in the first season, and they've aimed at bigger groups ever since (Nuest, After School, I think Broduce 2 had debuted idols too, and Idol School had idols from previous idol survival shows). Yujin is really sweet, she's a good cast for this role for everyone involved (except the other idols, though the ones Mnet like will have their storylines too). I hope it goes well for her if she's indeed part of the cast.

I could be completely wrong but I feel like it Yujin went onto this show, she'd be one of the top contestants pretty quickly? If CLC is dead in a ditch, out of all the members, she feels like the one most fitting for a survival show like this idk.

I hate it but it also makes sense to me?

My thoughts:

1. Another survival show?! Why???
2. Should mnet be allowed to host this?
3. Why the fuq is the voice over/silhouette male?
4. Of course it's male, what am I thinking?
5. But seriously, you named the show "girls planet" and couldn't be bothered to get a female to host?
6. I hate everything.
7. Is there gonna be any oversight to make sure mnet isn't faking the results?

the planet thing is a little cringe, but I guess it appeals to younger fans who'll be voting with the universe concept. while survival shows are not the best and Mnet is sadly biased, if it were similar to The Unit, it wouldn't be too bad of a thing for the debuted idols who may be inside the show. after all most debuted idols do kinda well in these shows so I get why companies would want to do it

We really do not need another survival show but I have a bad habit of wanting to support everyone who's on these hell shows so I will probably follow it a tiny bit like I always do :( Especially if debuted idols are competing.
