LABOUM To Return To “Music Core” To Perform Resurging Hit “Journey To Atlantis”

It’s official: over five years after its release, LABOUM will be performing their newly rediscovered 2016 song “Journey to Atlantis” on a music show!

Earlier this year, LABOUM’s 2016 track “Journey to Atlantis” began climbing back up the Korean music charts, and last month, it hit No. 1 on Bugs after project group MSG Wannabe covered the song on Yoo Jae Suk‘s popular MBC variety show “How Do You Play?”

Since then, the song’s popularity has only grown—and MSG Wannabe’s version of the track is still going strong on the domestic music charts.

In light of all the attention the song has been receiving, LABOUM will finally be returning to MBC’s “Music Core” on June 5 to perform “Journey to Atlantis” to express their gratitude to both their fans and the public for all the love.

“Music Core” airs live on Saturdays at 3:45 p.m. KST.

I feel like their company could've stepped up sooner to let them promote on music shows? But still hoping for a Brave Girls resurgence for them, because journey to atlantis is a bop!

Finally!!!! Their company waited too long imo, they dropped the ball a bit but I’m glad they’re doing it!

I’m so happy for their success :))) the song wasn’t my favorite initially but it has grown on me a lot. It’s still charting well, it’s in the top 20. I hope they announce a comeback soon too

I have apparently never heard this song and while watching the video I didn't look at the upload date so I was like "Wtf, it's cute but why does it sound like an A Pink song from 2014?"

i feel like i heard this had a resurgence....ages ago now their company was definitely slow at getting things moving for them but hopefully it will get plenty of attention, it's not my fave laboum song by a long shot but i'm happy at anything that gets them out and performing and hopefully getting more recognition.

yea this resurgence has been talked about since Brave Girls started performing in music shows. Laboum's company is lucky MSG Wannabe covered it, if not there really wouldn't be sustained interest
