- JYP has written lyrics, composed, and arranged for their title track āAlcohol Freeā
- It is common for members to write for b-sides (Chaeyoung started it first and it really started taking off the last few years with members writing for multiple b-sides per album) but this album ONLY members wrote the b-sides!
- Jihyo wrote for āFirst Timeā, Sana for āConversationā, Dahyun for āScandalā & āSOSā, & Nayeon for āBaby Blue Loveā.
- Jade from Little Mix composed for āFirst Timeā
- āCry For Meā has an English version only for the CD, no streaming (will inevitably end up on YouTube lol)

Date: 2021-05-30 06:40 pm (UTC)i LOVE the look of that teaser omg. idk if i can expect the mv to have those same sets but i hope so, it's gorgeous. they all look beautiful, chaeyoung's hair!! my hair was that shade of pink earlier this year and now i regret that i changed it lol.
those lyric credits are so exciting omg, i can't wait to hear them all and read the lyric translations. and an english vers of cry for me!! it lowkey sucks it's only on the cd, but i do listen to physical albums a lot in my car so i'll get to hear it there at least.
i'm so excited loool. i watched all their dance practices a few nights ago and was so blown away, idk why it took so long for them to click with me so hard but i'm in love.

The title track....idk about Alcohol Free š„“ It sounds pretty cheesy. I wouldnāt mind if they lean into the cheesiness but I didnāt get that vibe in the video...if anything making it a drinking song maybe wouldāve made it do better with the general public but Iāll guess weāll have to wait and see the connection with the lyrics. But I wish Taste of Love was the actual name. Plus I was hoping First Time was the title track!!
As always super hyped on the b-sides. Kinda bummed itās only 4 members writing this time around (surprised no Chaeyoung!!) but very cool to see the b-sides are written by them and canāt wait to see how the writing styles turn out especially in relation to this video. Wish Mina and Tzuyu would write more but itās understandable if itās not their thing or they donāt feel ready/comfortable to do more of it.

- Very interested to see Sana emerging as a writer! Dahyunās work I definitely like but not exactly my favorite, but Iām hoping one of these two songs really pulls me in
- Jihyo is gonna deliver I know it, her lyric writing is some of the best for sure!
- Little Mix and Twice collabing in some way is so cool :)
And finally.....Twice fans can be annoying regarding JYP. Complaining about the man himself? Always here for it lol! But now Iāve read multiple times āMafia In the Morning sucked now Twice is screwedā (paraphrasing) like omg. JYP has had plenty of past hits. And heās responsible for Feel Special, one of Twice fans favorite titles ever. Collapsedone definitely played their part but JYP shouldnāt be erased. Then they bring up Signal which is the last fully JYP produced song since a lot of international fans still hate Signal. Itās catchy as hell, my only issue is the too much talk-singing with Momo & Mina but now I recognize how catchy Signal is. Finally, MITM had multiple people work on it. Same as you canāt erase him from Feel Special, you canāt act like he was the only one that made MITM. You can trash his lyrics for Itzyās song, I support that lol! But idk just finding some Twice fans obnoxious.
Oh and I hope the English lyrics writer for CFM is better than past writers (hoping itās not the same person). I actually really like More & More in English but ICSM was way too wordy for the language compared to Korean. Feel free to change around lyrics to make it easier in English.
