Rocket Punch’s agency has announced that Takahashi Juri will be going on a hiatus due to health concerns.

On May 25, Woollim Entertainment released an official statement announcing that Juri will be taking a break from all activities and temporarily sitting out Rocket Punch’s promotions for their new single “Ring Ring” in order to focus on recovering her health.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

“Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.

Juri was recently advised by a doctor that due to health reasons, she needs to receive treatment while getting plenty of rest. After careful discussion with Juri and the Rocket Punch members, we have decided that because we consider Juri’s health our top priority, she will be focusing solely on treatment and recovering her health.

Therefore, for the time being, Juri will not be participating in Rocket Punch’s promotions for their first single ‘Ring Ring,’ which are currently ongoing. After halting all activities, Juri will be dedicating herself to treatment, and Rocket Punch will temporarily be promoting with five members.

We sincerely apologize to the many fans who always love and care for Rocket Punch for giving you cause for concern with this unfortunate news.

We will do our utmost to try to help Juri recover quickly and rejoin Rocket Punch’s activities in good health.
