i hate having a delay between single and album release 😔 also what is the enhanced album: pre thing on spotify? is that like when they tell people to pre save things before they're out? also thought kpop artists would finally stop being on ellen but no 😔

i appreciate the relatively short teaser period though and excited to see who they've got composing for them this time round on the tracklist

Seems weird to promote on Ellen as it's the show's final season, and not go back to Kelly Clarkson, which has the popularity right now. On top of being a program they've already visited once. Build that relationship and let the host foster organic support.

A single before the full album? I guess they're doing that because of their promo that day and want people to be able to stream it straight away, but it does give me flashbacks to the 2010 when this was the norm for everyone, haha.

Ellen is a weird choice but not a big deal. Tbh Kelly didn’t really have much of a boost for Cry For Me (at least looking at Spotify) so I kinda don’t see the point of these talk show performances besides a ratings boost I guess?

But I’m always excited for tracklist and teasers to begin! I think this short teaser schedule is much preferred after their last two comebacks that were really stretched out unnecessarily.

I saw rumors Cry For Me English will be physical album only, that’s why it’s not in spoilers. I prefer that if only because out of 6 songs I didn’t want one slot taken by a English version 😅

Yes! And Jihyo already confirmed some of the girls wrote songs so I’m even more excited. I’m also eager to find out whether the track Jade Thirlwall and her wrote on is the title track.
I usually avoid English versions of kpop songs like the plague so I have no comment lol.

I like English versions as little ‘gifts’ to fans but when I heard the album had 6 songs and fans were screaming ‘cry for me better be on it’ I’m like ‘NO then we only have 5 new songs!!’ Lol give me all new content! Plus cry for me really doesn’t fit the vibe of this album era.
