I've been avoiding audio teasers to go in completely blank and perhaps I should have prepared myself a little more.... This is straight terrible honestly. damn its so bad lmao the verses and pre chorus are fine but as a noise lover that chorus is still too much for me. the later choruses that throw in the 'i'm the one what you want' line over the instrumental sound better than the purely instrumental chorus at the start but the actual 'hot sauce deeply dip that' chanted chorus sounds unbelievably awful

i enjoyed it briefly between 0:24 and 0:50 lol everything else not so much

i like the prechorus i guess, but then the chorus ruins it all. jisung singing and renjun as a whole are the only highlights i could find.

except for a few exceptions sm's musical direction has been shit the last couple of years rip.

This is so bad i knew I'd hate it lmao. Can't wait to hear how they explain that this song is not about dick. Im trying to think of a compliment and I just can't. I don't even care about the bits of the dance we can see. I dont even think that the song is traditional NCT noisy music, the tone of the chorus is just bad. Sorry Dream.

Hopefully I'll like the rest of this album better but I'll have to wait until after my final today to listen to it.

edit: I listened to the album instead of last minute studying. I definitely liked the more chill songs on the album better. I'm happy that they finally have their first full album and they've done amazing with sales I just wish I liked it more. There's just nothing that I'm like yeah I would choose to play this and listen to it a thousand times over. Production did so much better with line distribution than I thought they would do. I think my favorite song is Rainbow it's a great song to end an album with.

Love everything but the awful chorus! The rest is fun and the vocalists came thru. They almost had it....

Sigh, I know its not his fault and the dreamies love him, but I’ve come to resent mark in dream lol. Jeno couldnt even get a full verse 😂 Jaemin also gets shafted and Jisung loses the center time when Mark is in the unit. It is what it is.

I actually expected the line dustribution with Mark back in the group to be so much worse but strangely enough both Jeno and jisung have more time in this song than Mark. Jisung with the second most time, right behind Renjun.

I like Mark in the group for their social dynamics but tend to get annoyed by him in the group music wise not because he's bad but because Jeno, Jaemin and Jisung aren't really given the room to grow since Mark is an SM Favorite that tends to be at the forefront a lot in terms of rapping, being in the center dance wise, and also having decent vocal abilities. (And i say that as a Mark fan)
