I’n glad there’s a Weeekly post since I wanted talk about their streaming numbers! After School must’ve really took off because of TikTok since it has 21 million streams of Spotify!! In comparison, their debut has 3 million and Zig Zag only 1 million (also shows that song really didn’t make much an impact compared to AS)
But that’s incredible seeing the jump in streams. I know Weeekly still have some improvement in Korea (sad they slept on it but that’s nothing new for them) but at least it did great internationally! I’d love if they continue this type of sound, I think it shows that a break from the predictable girl crush can go far since AS did way better than a lot of other girl group songs recently.
