Tiffany is so tiny and not just skinny but height as well. I thought at the beginning of "we both reached for the gun" that the guy was just big but when the backup dancers came in you can tell how tiny she is.
Also, Chicago is one of my favorite musicals. I freaking love it.
I think I saw the rehearsal footage a few weeks back. She seems better in the actual stage performance - in the rehearsal she just seems really muted, she was possibly still getting used to the way you need to emote in a musical theatre performance vs being an idol.
She's definitely better in the Roxie performance, definitely not my favourite Roxie, but shows promise. I know she had a part in Fame like a decade ago but I sort of wish she'd taken a side role in another musical before attempting a role like Roxie, it's the kpop-idol-in-a-drama problem all over again lol. Roxie's vocal range is a good fit for her though so that's a big benefit. I wouldn't pay to go see her yet but I don't regret watching the youtube video.
She improved quite a bit as a musical actress, but I don't think she's fit for the role of Roxie from what I've seen. I see more Tiffany than the character; she's not sassy enough, and too cheery for it. Sure Roxie is energetic and optimistic, but more in a deluded and selfish kinda way. Idk how to explain.
The microphones on the forehead will never not be funny to me.
And unrelated, but her weight really worries me, she's been way too skinny since last year.
I KNOW Roxie is supposed to be on the skinny side but Tiffany is like....post Japan flag emoji fuckup skinny again. I hope she stays safe it can't be easy to do a musical with that little fat/muscle.
I love Chicago so much. Only musical I've went to see live so far, and it was such a blast!
Vocally I think she's handling it well, Roxie's range suits her. She looks very happy though lmao, I understand her and am glad to see her having so much fun but that's not very Roxie lol. I hope we keep getting videos to see how she grows into the role! It's a good experience for her!
I know almost nothing about Chicago except reading the Wiki summary, but Tiffany definitely needs to be bigger in her actions. the acting is a little muted, which may work in film or dramas but for stage it kinda pales, especially when she's much smaller than most people there
