Fortunately she apologized but idk I don’t really trust her. I don’t really trust people like that in general (also she’s apparently really religious, which is unrelated but something I also have a hard time trusting for personal reasons). I was never buying any of her stuff anyways, but eh it’s hard to show emotional support now
i had dropped her after that instance, but last year she was criticised for seeming to be a fair weather supporter of BLM because of her past and her reaction was not a great look. it distracted from the fairly valid criticism and distrust she was facing, and was just pretty immature all round. i'm only a month older than amber and hold her to the same expectations that i hold myself to, so...
I don't know what to think of her anymore. Just another person to ditch. I feel like nowdays it's compulsory to search people + scandal and sometimes one doesn't even find much, except s.o. mentions sth. like in your case for me to get a better handle on things bc I suck at keeping up-to-date.
I think it's all up to the individual to decide on how they want to move forward with consuming art in this case. personally i stopped supporting amber in 2019, but like i said, had completely wiped her from my memory in 2020 because i didn't want to support someone who lashed out the way she did. do i understand why she did lash out? sure. i still don't wanna support her tho and i chose not to.

I did like one of her past songs genuinely but I do think I tried to listen to other songs of hers that I wasn’t enthusiastic about overall since I found her attractive lol. I was like hey I’ll try, they’d grow on me over time!
But now that attraction is gone after her pro police stance so now I’m like hey, I don’t have to listen to her average music anymore lol.
Especially since she was someone that was always more popular internationally than domestically. She really shot herself in the foot with those comments.
Cute song I'm still a little mad, I was really rooting for her before the police comments. Now I've completely checked out I hope she educated herself and grew up
2 of kpop's cringiest rappers working together! but i'm not aware of anything problematic from peniel. unfortunately i've lost all interest in amber so i will not be checking this out
