Every Friday I check the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back to the 4th week in March, 2013.

#3 Teen Top “Miss Right”
Busy year for the group. This was a single from the group’s first full studio album, released just after returning from their first European tour. This album did well, and would peak at #2. A few months later they would follow it with another successful album. Here’s their comeback stage at Music Core. I can never remember this song by name, only when I press play.

#2 SHINee “Dream Girl”
This was the single from Part 1 of the group’s “The Misconceptions of Us” album. Both the song and the album would peak at #1 on the charts. I’m always so confused why I don’t remember this era at all. I only remember the behind the scenes video wtf lol. But I really love the styling this era so much.

#1 2AM “One Spring Day”
This is the single from their album of the same name. It was pretty successful, with both the song and the album charting in the top three. It would also end up being their last big hit. The group would begin their hiatus the next year. Let’s check out the vocal version MV. Jo Kwon looks tiny here.

Honorable Mentions

#4 Lee Hi “It’s Over”

This era was so cute! I loved her styling here too. Love the hair and the makeup and all the cute dresses. Ugh so cute! It was a successful release for her. The song would hit the top spot, and the album would peak at #3. It would sell very well too. It’s been a while, so let’s see the music video again.

#8 Rainbow “Tell Me Tell Me”
More cute! Sometimes you just want cute and fun and pop and that’s how I’m feeling this week. And it’s also my most favorite Rainbow song! This was the lead single from Part 1 of their “Rainbow Syndrome” album. It was the first time that the full group comeback together in Korea since “Sweet Dream” in 2011.

I LOV raINBOW. Jaekyung with this red hair completely blew me away, she is so damn beautiful.
There are a handful of SHINee title tracks that I listen to maybe once a year and Dream Girl is one of them. I don't even dislike the song it's just meh. But the choreo still impresses me and those clips that circulated of them calmly and cooly fixing things when the mic stands malfunctioned was always so impressive.

Teen Top always had such fun, upbeat songs. They really are great performers.

Dream Girl choreo is still so good! SHINee were really ahead of the name. Their vocals too! Astounding!

I remember this era for Rainbow really well, it was so cute and I loved the flouncy tops they wore.

Teen Top's Miss Right! Yet another Brave Brothers bop. I remember seeing Teen Top perform it live in Music Bank in my city with those accessories on their wrists. This was before I got interested in their music and checked out their songs.

Lee Hi debuted so young, I honestly was shocked when earlier this year I found out she's a 96 liner! To think she's turning 25 this year and is same age as Joy, Sana, Momo, etc. I thought she was Yeri's age... just one of those cases when you've "known" someone for a long time, from a young age, and then get surprised to learn how old they are now lol.

Teen Top is one of the groups in my early kpop years that impressed me with their stable singing/rapping and good dancing. And they're a fun bunch to watch in variety (all those crazy Weekly Idol episodes!)

Watching old stages with the individual stage props (that must have been pricey), nowadays it's mostly screen. I wonder if companies pay the same costs or get a discount to get a slot in music shows therefore.

Teen Top has always been known for their choreos.

2013 was one of my favorite years following SHINee. There was so much new music that year. I still really love the whole Misconceptions album.

Tell Me Tell Me is okay, but Rainbow Syndrome Pt. 2 >>>>>>>>>>>
