Not to sound shady but this is probably one of the only recent solos I like of hers. Also her and I are only a week apart in age and I can't fucking imagine losing my mom. I know she has her dad and younger sister but I also hope she has a good group of people around her at this time.

As for the song: whoever produced this...I hope she continues to work with them. It was somber and thoughtful, but not cheesy in that ballady way. Like you can be sad with a beat that knocks. CL is much more appealing as a singer than she is a rapper, and I wish she would just stick to that. My only beef is that I found the first verse a little clunky, but past that the song moves well.

So far, and unfortunately (due to the reason the song exists) this is her best work.

It’s definitely not easy to deal with a loss of a family member, especially when the loss is so close to a memorable event (birthday/anniversary). The song is a good listen and I hope she finds strength and outlet in writing this

I figured she was an only child/first born at the beginning because there was soooo much footage/photos. Once you hit second/and onwards, you never have your childhood as well documented.

Song-wise, I like it.
