I'm not crying, you're crying. I like the pared down vibe they're going for, and it's probably the only rock-ish song that I know from them. there's also a similar vibe to Thank You, which was also composed by Jinyoung (coincidence?). I did not like the bridge though
all in all a great fan gift, and a great way to shut others up tbh. which also makes me wonder, since there was someone to film them throughout, means that some of the staff from JYPE left together with them? or that they knew that the boys would leave in the end and were in on the plans
Haha it's the opposite for me, I love the bridge! Jinyoung always has the rappers sing in his songs and for this particular song, I think the choice fits the song.
If I'm not mistaken, Mark's friend (the editor in the mv credit) was the one who film them.
Not THE best but probably one of the best. I think BEG also left quietly and still managed to promote together eventhough they are under different companies. And Beast/Highlight just set up their own company.
I have heard about Beast, but they had to give up their previous name, I'm happy that Got7 can still call themselves that, so I think for me they seem to have had a more amicable/easier split from their company.
I did not know about BEG splitting from company at all though, but that is great! That gives me a bit more hope for Got7 promoting together again.
I wonder if the pandemic is partially to thank for this outcome. They had a year without touring and with fewer activities to make a plan, set up music, etc etc etc.
They were probably interested regardless, but they also had more free time to research, develop, and execute.

One silver lining to a plague...
