Justice for NingNing!
I really like Givenchy, they make gorgeous dresses (the outfits Rooney Mara wore on "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" promo tour were perfection - it was 10 years ago T_T) and I think the girls can pull the brand off. Now I'm not the biggest fan of the shoes (burn them all) or the ill fitting outfits (except Karina) they wore for this shoot not gonna lie. Their stylist just needs to figure out their personnal style. I'm so excited to see more outfits!!!

Giselle had more flavor here than in that group shot.
That dress is backless and I think they should highlight that, but they (Karina, the creative director, etc.) were never going to highlight that. Wynter was my least favorite. She got pants so I would have been doing more wide leg poses. NingNing was interesting, I personally like the dress but that person on the last post was right about these clothes wearing them. I still think she had some potential in modeling.
Wet hair needs to be abolished. Again it only works in the context of water. Ain’t no damn water and they just look GREASY. Oh and those shoes are ugly. I’m not a fashion person (it is something I have interest in but I missed my window to really dive into it at a greater depth) but I have never cared for most SM idols fashion. Even the ones y’all say can dress. Maybe in the last few years they have gotten interesting but overall...mmm. I’m hoping their stylist(s) can do good with them, and with Givenchy on hand they get some interesting looks but considering them Black Mamba outfits...

For as pretty as they all are, they only one who seems like she knows how to model is NingNing. The other three just stared blankly and moved a tenth of an inch of each frame.

Eta: actually Giselle was alright at modeling too.

my constant beef with kpop stylists is that they never bother to actually do fitting. how are idols supposed to sell clothes that they are promoting if they always look so ill fitted? sm bothered to give them such a big gig and yet... they look straight up bad.

karina's comment about the dog worries me, where she asks if dogs have depression and trouble sleeping. she also kinda had a deadpan face in some shots as she was talking... i hope she's doing ok.

as far as this clip is concerned, she’s just asking a question, that’s all. it’s common knowledge that dogs do suffer from depression and because the dog is sleeping so soundly she’s wondering if they ever suffer from insomnia because she’s never seen a dog having trouble sleeping. it’s extremely dangerous and potentially damaging to assess someone’s mental health based on facial expressions and from a photoshoot at that.

I really dislike the wet hair look. Why is that such a popular look? I rarely find it looking good unless the hair is completely slicked back or something.
