i want to see the girls' performance personalities.. so far this generic ballad and ripped off debut song havent allowed them to shine at all. what is their color? what is their concept? SM said the virtual idols but literally where are they? idt SM knows what its doing.
This is exactly the reason why I don't care for them. People ask why their debut is so lackluster (Aside from all the attention they are getting only for being from SM) and it's simply because literally ANYONE could do this. Any company could slap this together. And sorry for the girls but, there is nothing really exceptional about them compared to other groups when it comes to vocals, looks or styling (Which is awful most of the time)

SM's new creative director is awful I hope they fire him. the virtuals are at the very end of the video so at least they aren't dead in a digital ditch yet.
I agree lol. It’s not something super memorable but it’s light and easy to listen to. Perfect for some supermarket background music
I probably should add for a proper comeback that would not be a compliment lol! But since this isn’t a main comeback it’s easier to understand what it’s meant for.
at the 1:45 minute mark i realised the video was 5 mins long and gave up
it's boring but would have been fine as a bside on their debut that they could have brought out at xmas time for their fans rather than having it as an official release. also the outfits are hideous sm really dont seem to be putting the effort in with them.
Overall it’s nice. I liked the original version even though plenty think it’s boring lol 🤷 but it’s the type of ballad that makes me feel something and I like the late 90s/early 2000s sound lol. The only thing I’m not feeling is the “Forever” parts. Oh and the avatars included at the end was a cop out.

I still would’ve released it earlier but I see why they released this remake. Black Mamba honestly I can’t remember their vocals (Though tbf I barely listened to it once I realized I wasn’t into it lol) and they sound nice here, I can see them putting this out to show more dimension for the group. Fans are eating up their vocals, I’m sure they’ll use it for some fan war now.
So overall it’s pleasant, which is was basically what this was going for so I think they achieved that.
Not something I would put on repeat, but it seems they can all sing decently without anyone being relegated to rap or having few lines because they can't really hold a note.

It reminds me when OOTN (one of are’s Vevlvet’s best songs paid dust) tried to go ballad and the. R&B and I was just y’all don’t have to do that. Here, The strings wants to give us Chrimmus and winter wonderland, but I think they should have dropped it and gone straight Not Tamia, but totally Tamia knock off.

lol omg I am glad I am not the only one who was side-eying those struggle vocal runs. I am no expert and will be the first to admit that I cannot sing, but I was like "ummmmmm?????" Bless these girls, but this song was not it.
SM in general is bad about it (they definitely prescribe to the Christina Aguilera method to runs which is just “WHOA” your way through a song no rhyme or reason”) but these runs were bad for no reason. I don’t think the song was bad per say. But it will be like Be Natural was for Red Velvet. Very much there until their catalog is big enough for you to forget it even happened (although I liked Be Natural). Like there is very little for them to do other than sound nice and get through 5 minutes of nothing.
It's an odd choice to release a song like this. It's very SM Station. Felt like they should have release this song as a nice SM family collab or something...at least that would somehow make the 5 minutes seem better lol.
I think it should be clear SM wanted something to put out while people waited for their actual comeback. If whatever rumors are to be believed, SHINee is the next big release, then maybe Red Velvet. Aespa will be thrown in there somewhere. Had they slapped SM Station on it, maybe people would have accepted it for what this is: a pretty and boring placeholder. It not having that title doesn’t change that though. Like sometimes companies just put content out because they know they can and it does a thing. The thing here being a non comeback specific song.
I'm a ballad/mid-tempo fan so I'm not disappointed in it being slow. They sound really great which is a relief because the debut teasers left lots to be desired.
I guess with white day and valentines day they went winter themed I don't mind it, the song's sweet and it'll probably get them some placements in playlists and possibly BGM.
i don’t like ballads so it’s not their fault again that i dont enjoy this. give karina better styling and a better song please i know she has it in her to serve!! sm has lost its touch and i hate how their idols seem to have their personalities pr trained away.
I liked it! I thought the snow globe stage was pretty. I really feel like it must have been delayed, because this would have been perfect to release right before Christmas. I'm glad the avatars are being minimized (for now) - if there was too much focus on them and not the members, I feel like the members would get lost along the way.
I knew the song wasn't going to be my thing, but I'm glad that everyone has a nice voice/technique. I mean, I don't know how to sing myself, but nobody has this super thin, airy, can barely hold a tune type of voice that some idols have.
I agree this should've been released at least a month ago, but anyway. I hope they comeback with a mini and with better clothing.
(also, I shouldn't have to be saying this but I'm glad SM isn't making ningning nor giselle lose weight yet, the girls are fine but idols standards are messed up so ://)
I love this personally, its entirely my cup of tea. I wish they had something else going for them concept wise other than being super conventionally attractive, dnw this Blackpink influencer kind of angle
