I’m getting nervous about Tribe’s debut. I liked Songsun’s video because she’s the only mature member, like I feel more comfortable with her doing this if she’s 23. The other member Kelly’s wasn’t as sexual at least and she’s 19. But every member here on out for teasers is 17 and under. If I see any of these younger girls doing moves like this I’m out lol. It’s just very uncomfortable to me if they sexualize young teens. If they wanted this concept I don’t get why you couldn’t have hired more girls out of high school/MIDDLE school...

I always feel bad for female idols that debut in groups from small companies that have to do super sexy concepts. I feel like these companies hope their group will have a Girl’s Day moment and hit it big doing sexy concepts but it hasn’t happened since.

IA! I honestly liked that traditional ‘sexy’ concepts slowed down a lot in the newer gen compared to stuff we got in the early to mid 2010s.

I’m conflicted since on a surface level I’m like hey Songsun is feeling herself lol! She can definitely dance. But knowing it’s men behind all these decisions just puts a damper on all of it.

Hopefully the younger members videos were more like Kelly’s which I didn’t have much issue with minus one move lol. But if I see that 14 yr old maknae doing an open leg shot or the pull up move with focus on the ass, nope nope nope

The only reason I give Loona a semi-pass is because Yeojin debuted with a cute concept and then got shafted for 2 years so that she wouldn't completely miss out on school.

Mirae is 14 yep :/ 4 of the members are between 14-16. Which even with the makeup and styling in the teaser pic they look aged up imo

That’s why I’m like producers make good choices pleaseeeee lol. I’m with you, I’m really uncomfortable with really young members in kpop but I’m more understanding if they have a cute concept like Yeojin (I really liked her solo song lol) or Weeekly with their school concept. It’s believable since most of the girls are high school age. I think StayC did a decent job of debuting with a non cute concept but didn’t get too inappropriate with their younger members since I think their maknae just turned 16.
