4 versions of Muzik (Japanese single) confirmed

Trading cards included in the limited versions will be randomly picked from a set of 5 (A, B, C, D, or E). Covers for normal and limited versions will be different. Jacket photos and tracklist will be announced soon, so I guess even though the single is named 'Muzik', there may be other songs in the CD. Rumors have said that Universal Music Japan will be composing new songs for 4Minute which can cater to the Japanese market. Many online Japanese music stores are already opening their doors to online orders for this upcoming hot single.

more versions is better if you have a smaller loyal fanbase, they'll buy every version and it'll inflate sales. Casual fans are more likely to buy only 1 version.

what the versions?
3 'limited edition' versions with a DVD included, one 'regular edition' with just the CD.
Each DVD has different content depending on what version you buy.

I totally get why they are putting out 4 versions. Its for the loyal fanbase that will buy all 4-which means they can get more sales than with just 2 versions. Casual fans are generally only going to buy one version no matter how many are put out.

Do they really need 4 versions, probably not but from a business point its better for them. They do this because they know theres always a portion of the fans that will buy all the versions of a single/album no matter how many there are.

Idk if I'll be able to buy theirs right away since I have a bunch of other new releases I want more than this one but I'll probably pick it up eventually.

(don't get me wrong, I've always found trading cards in a CD to be totally ridiculous. I ordered puzzle/revive by mai kuraki, and while I was half-excited to get a detective conan trading card, it's just a piece of paper, lol.)
