I like this format specifically for the top 10, it means we'll get a much more truthful representation of what people liked rather than people just seeing a nomination and going for that or not putting a song forward because it was less popular. Basically for the Omona top 10 list, I ended up having one song max by artist (so only Labyrinth by GFriend as it's my most replayed song of 2020(!) instead of Crossroads + Labyrinth + MAGO + Eye of the Storm + Here We Are lmao) and switching Turn Back Time (released in Mandarin) and Psycho (released in 2019) with my favourite 2020 bsides.
My lists was made up of songs from 15/12/2019 to 15/12/2020, which is why I have Red Velvet - Psycho and not TWICE - Cry For Me (will most certainely be on my 2021 list).


I tried not to vote for GFriend everytime because I think some others did just as good if not better (like I voted for LA DI DA for best MV and Soul Lady for best album) but overall, GFriend are my clear favourite artist this year. I've loved their albums (title tracks, bsides, consistency) and concepts (videos, styling, packaging) SO MUCH and I've just spent so much time listening their songs or looking at their videos (performances too) this year. Labyrinth may be my most played song on spotify right now but my top 20 spotify tracks are half GFriend lmao I was obsessed this year (as with other years tbh lmao I love them)
