omonatheydid500 fans filled the Taoyuan International Airport to welcome Korean star Jang Geun-Suk on March 6th. He will be having a sold-out fan meeting at the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall on the following day.
Jang Geun-Suk was accompanied by 12 staff members and his parents on the trip to Taiwan. He was dressed in black and wearing sunglasses, but was still easily spotted by fans. They welcomed the star with balloons and banners, along with deafening screams that might have others mistaken the airport for the night market.
Organizers arranged over 40 security guards and air police officers to protect him at the airport. Contrary to his character in the drama You’re Beautiful, Jang Geun-Suk smiled and waved at the fans who have been waiting for hours. He thanked them for coming and said he will do his best at the concert.
